Well that's all fine and dandy, for sure, and fast jump aircraft are pretty cool. But even if it was twice as fast as that why would anyone want to jump a King Air when Super Caravans or -34 Otters will get a load to 14K in 12 minutes in comfort and then have a nice big door to make life happy for the jumpers? No time to relax and get comfortable is hardly a selling point for practicing a dive flow, calming a student, or doing a few safety checks. To each their own, I guess.

You're not my Ken. My Ken grasps nuance. Nor would my Ken offer a false choice based on a false narrative. Musk should not have been allowed to make any seemingly generous offer of satellite communications to further Ukraines war effort in the first place without agreement by the US DoD that control would vest with the US DoD. He wasn't sending containers of Big Mac's and Whoppers, he was sending targeting capability to the Ukrainian Military. That it was all done so sloppily that he retained the rights to say no to some targets was not to smart on DOD's part. Also, that we have morbidly rich loose cannons who can do so and with apparent impunity is, I think, a real problem.

Goodbye, jakee.

No, I’m thinking that weapons of war, which in this case Starlink is, shouldn’t be treated like support by an NGO. Probably we should have told Musk DoD would contract and pay for the service.

Straw man argument. I think people with enormous wealth like Musk, but not limited to Musk, shouldn't be making decisions that might affect the outcome of a battle or conflict in a war zone just because he can afford to. How we get that genie back in the bottle given our current political situation is beyond my ken.

He's not a government western or not and that is the sole issue. Citizens should not be using incredible wealth to project power into a war without expecting that they themselves become a target.

Jump door STC approvals for Cessna 182H

Indeed. Sealand have an FAA DAR that used the CAA STC to create an FAA 8110-3. Problem solved. -
And what about Hunter Biden's Second Amendment rights or that he's being persecuted by the IRS? Woke big government and Joe Biden are totally out of control.

This just in from outer space: US Senator Ron Johnson (for a bonus guess which party and state) has just announced that windmills are killing whales. Thank you for allowing me to destroy a portion of your brain. Now, back to regularly scheduled misinformation.

Ukraine has apparently breached the second defensive line on the way to Tokmak. It was less of a barrier than the first and there are reasons to believe the third will be easier still. Now they need to decide if they should charge on to Tokmak or wheel left and right to roll up the second defensive line from the rear and widen the breach. I like option two but either way, for now at least, Ukraine is kicking ass.

He hasn't been always wrong every day, he's simply able to ignore the dynamic nature of developing weather systems in pursuit of his point.

Right. And it's not the MAGA Nutters that should be up in arms, we should be. F'n Trump called for insurrection on TV at the Ellipse. He was recorded strong arming Raffensperger to void the votes of 12000 Georgia voters. It's all a matter of public record, and without dispute, yet he walks free because he wants to be President again so he can pardon himself. Hundreds of low level idiots are in prison because of his lies and we're still reading about how Trump may shake off this or that indictment. And that's before our crooked Supreme Court gets a bite at the apple. Damn right we need a revolution. -

I hope so, too, but I'll take self serving freaked out over jail time and giganzo legal bills as an acceptable alternative. -

Let's hope every stupid asshat with body armor and a shit eating grin takes note of where being a moron will take you. -
Screw all of those discounts and those who beg for them; and beg for them they do. One of my brothers is a veteran who fixed radios in Fresno, the other was a veteran who served in the Coast Guard marching band. They don't deserve any discounts, or thanks for their service, nor does anyone lucky enough to get old deserve a Senior discount. It's all a complete a crock of shit no less than the tip jar seeded with a few ones and fives at the coffee shop cash register. Resist!

Won't be any smokes and canned cocktails where he's going. And yes, he cried and begged for mercy at his sentencing. Such a Proud Boy! -
We now live in a Dumbocracy. It'll soon be permanent because the Bozo's are breeding faster than anyone with a shred of smarts. If you Canookians were more practical you'd be buying up that discounted border wall material.

The only way they can be stopped is by losing market share. So called 'moderate" Republicans need to register as Independents or Democrats. That they don't proves they aren't hence were fucked.

Jump door STC approvals for Cessna 182H
JoeWeber replied to wesk's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
That they are: a total class act. I had them do the job in 2015. Here is my email to Aaron at Sealand after the job was done: Aaron, My apologies for the delayed reply. You said you hoped for a strong finish and that it was. In my 28 years in aviation I have never witnessed, much less been the recipient of, a better display of customer service. Your crew was excellent. The installation is great. The door and step are perfect. Thank you. I do have one suggestion. The paperwork allows for 4 jumpers. With the TrollTune Fresh Pick 150# Gross Weight Increase STC (which I have) 5 jumpers would be no problem. Adding that to the kit by modification or 8110-3 would be a major addition and make all other kits obsolete. Just a thought. Feel free to use any of this email in your advertising. Best, Joe Weber -

Here you go. I bought it for a C-182Q. Good set-up. http://www.sealandaviation.com/sites/default/files/SkyDive-Step-and-Door-Issue-2.pdf -
Assuming Brents 20th Resurrection comes to pass, one wonders, how will he explain this Hurricane season? It ain't a Hurricane if it ain't a Hurricane that kills people?

Good. The neat thing is that the 14th Amendment doesn't require a conviction of insurrection to cause someone to be precluded from holding office. So to my mind prima facie evidence is more than enough. The most of these capital rioters have implicated Trump. Hell, even Pezzola after a 10 year sentence, as he was being led away, screamed Trump won. Some Secretary of State somewhere will remove Trump from the ballot and the case will fast track to the Supreme Court. Who can guess what our three literalist and six illiteralist Justices will rule but I do think there is hope for sanity. -

I hope that bastard Tarrio also balls like a baby next Tuesday. Portland Oregon had already become enough of a confused crap hole without extra help from those smirking, self important jerks. Adios asshats! -
I took that as more of a look away from the problem, we have this, sort of statement. But then I don't trust those motherfuckers any further than I can pick one up and toss the bastard.
