Nope. It'll be that damn liberal put hash oil in my vaper, grabbed my tits and wouldn't stop so I squeezed his weenie until he did. So, me too!

It's all so funny I could cry. Human stupidity in every domain is so overwhelming that the idea that our species will survive the next 1000 years is simply ludicrous.

AFF FROM HIGH SPEED FIXED WING AIRCRAFT
JoeWeber replied to randhawa922's topic in Safety and Training
Yes. And not just for you but for everyone else who believes going to the internet first and talking to experts second is appropriate: stop it. That is not to say that the voracious reading of articles and research online isn't a fantastic way to learn. Just do not expect that opinions from all comers on blogs is a good first start. It is not, in fact it's the worse way to start.- 17 replies

AFF FROM HIGH SPEED FIXED WING AIRCRAFT
JoeWeber replied to randhawa922's topic in Safety and Training
With respect sir, You need to hire someone with deep experience and knowledge rather than seeking solutions online. It's not just asking how to make a successful exit with a student at high exit speeds, imagine what might happen if two inexperienced instructors tumble an AFF 1 at 250kph or if the pilot turns on the light at 300 kph. Surely there is someone you can access for knowledge if these jumps are even necessary and unless it's some kind of special forces training I can not imagine why it would be.- 17 replies

The family values party, who can't stomach the idea of queer couples holding hands in public, must think it's just peachy for an unmarried hetero couple to engage in foreplay in a public family setting. You know, letting your date fondle your exposed tits in a theater seat whilst giving him a nice moral majority hand job.

DeSantis was a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy and graduated from Yale and Harvard. Any other ideas?

Lippy, as I previously told you when you are gone I intend to have you bronzed. The problem now, and as you know every one is short handed, is scheduling. So. I caught a break and have an online coupon for next week. Does that work for you?

Marriage: the number one cause of divorce and expensive college educations.

Nothing could be more true.

Well and that's the point. Too many Skydive Operators looked at outfits with FAA approved 8000 hour TBO's and say "Why not me, too?". Then go out and buy a 4000 Hour engine that was rebuilt by a grey shop. I've seen it and I've seen those engines on the floor at SA. But they aren't doing the real maintenance, Also, to get that 8000 hour TBO they jump through hoops proving their maintenance. First they apply to send in a 4500 hour engine. If that looks good then a 5000 hour engine and so on until 8000 hours. Nothing is skipped or fudged. Soap samples, vibration analysis, Borescope inspections and HSI's are done on schedule. Done right a post TBO PT6 is a fine engine. But it must be done right.

Rob, I've bought aircraft out of 135 operations that were rigged for shit: flaps that didn't retract evenly, elevator trim out of spec, ailerons uneven etc. All of those things could mimic a wing that wasn't rigged exactly as the other for angle of incidence. That, and I'd wager a meaningful difference would be visible to the eye looking head on. A failed fuel pump due to a missing required inspection is a problem but I can tell you that after 34 years in this game and a fair amount of experience running a crap load of different aircraft in skydiving and all sizes of PT6 engines in the engine leasing game that accessories can fail early in their life, too. I think most operators with wide ranging experience would agree that a smooth runner with 500-1500 hours on it is the one you don't think about. Also, my business was leasing engines to operators with FAA approved 8000 TBO's. I had access to the tear down floor at Standard Aero, Winnipeg. Trust me, a well maintained PT6 engine that was serviced by Pratt or a DDOF could look pretty good on the carts after tear down. And, I never saw a trend towards excessive early accessory replacement in the log books. No, the Hawaii accident was caused by a jerk pilot and lack of management supervision. That said, this is aviation, our Gods are weak, and too often unavailable so I've already notified my shop that we're replacing accessories this winter.

Not me, man, I'm good for as long as I want but there will be many who will just say screw it.

Ken, something that young people, like yourself, don't fully grasp is that as one gets older they start getting their druthers and many of our DZO senior citizens would druther not be fucked around by the feds over useless paperwork irrespective of the cost. I suspect many would simply druther to take their marbles and go fishing.

It helps but not as much help as signing a $2 Billion private equity deal which was initially rejected by the Saudi Sovereign Wealth Fund Advisors as being "unsatisfactory in all respects" and having an excessive fee structure. For some reason, probably because he likes to help first time hedge funders, they were overruled by MBS. Nothing to look at there.

Just after the hop and pops.

Right. And after being VP for eight years he pulled down a measly $11 million for speaking. I, for one, would like to see more of that sort of payday. Hell, I've been speaking here since 2003 and I haven't got skittah. I suspect I've been worth every penny, too.

I'm sure the bored kids were a joy and I'm even surer that I've never heard a fish monger call out: "Smelly Fish! Get your smelly fish here!"

As Skydekker has claimed repeatedly, we truly have become a Banana Republic. Impeachment proceedings against a sitting President at the behest of a candidate for reelection against a sitting President by that candidates political party for the sole purpose swaying the election are who we are now. Thank you Republicans.
-
Yes. I already heard that from Matt Gaetz. He's 80 and is worth $11 million according to Forbes. Most of that is in appreciated real estate that appreciated the old fashioned way: over time. Some is by cashing in on the speaking circuit after being VP. That's opposed the the new fashioned way of by knowing Harlan Crow and scamming foreign dignitaries and morons. Do you know of other scammed wealth we need to add to what to me seems a paltry total for his age?

Before or after?

Yep, it's a pilots airplane for sure. I've owned and operated two retractable gear aircraft used for jumping: a regular Twin Beech and a Turbine Twin Beech. Never again. Same with King Airs for jumping, the small door and tight cabin don't work for me no matter how fast it climbs.

Not be a self aggrandizing prick, would be a good start. You know, like pick up the phone and tell our government he can help and whats the best way. You know, the little things that narcissists don't do.

No matter, my pallet of fine Wine and aged Rum, as confirmed by Apple Air Tags, is now in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Soon it'll be in Miami and then containerized for delivery to the Peoples Republic of Joe currently in Bocas Del Toros Panama. Then I am outa here and all of these problems I will leave to ya'alls kind and capable attentions.

Well, you're a rockstar, that's a fact. I am also a fan of fast climbing jump planes, my current fave is my -42A Short Caravan with full traffic, glass etc. Super fun to fly and 2 minutes 11 seconds to all three on the runway from 14K. From jumping, I'm just not a fan of small doors, I guess. No matter, when it comes to fast planes you are the ruler, no doubt.
-
Relax Mike, I can calculate the difference in the of number of loads possible in an aircraft with half the climb time, too. So here's a question, I've flown 36 loads a day in a Super Caravan on back to back days too often. Have you flown 72 loads on back to back days in a Super even faster King Air? You are promoting the machines production advantage after all.
