Should Biden Get the Nomination in Light of an Apparent Sexual Assault
JoeWeber replied to DJL's topic in Speakers Corner
I suppose. The good news is that at least $30,000 in airport subsidies is going to your airport. That, and the rest of the dole to come, should help keep the rents low. -

I assume you're talking a V shaped stock market recovery. In the trenches it might be a very different story. For example, do you believe a switch gets thrown someday soon and every DZ is back to normal? -

I'll take $50 betting on Biden. -

Sadly, Trump most definitely has a home in today's Republican party. -

Hey Jerry, I understood. It was those few key states that caused the fluke. I should have been clearer. Joe -

This is fun for you, isn't it? Who cares if Trump wins again, right? It is what it is, nothing important is at stake, and it's the Democrats own damn fault they couldn't reanimate JFK for the election. What a comedic debacle and please pass the Cheetos. -

For our values at a whole, yes. But in a few key states, in that election, I think skydekker is right. -
That was over 100 years ago. Reporting then was inaccurate at best and no one was keeping records anyway because no one knew which bunch of foreign bastards was actually behind the flu. As you know the nation had strong isolationist tendencies at the time. In fact, I'm pretty sure that until the scope of the problem and the horrendous impact of it were well understood it was called "The Good Ol' American Sniffles". Look that up before quoting me.
-
Thanks Joe. I'm hoping others will give feedback, too. Me, I'll wait to see if there is a replay before I cram into an Otter with 22 of my closest friends. The other problem is the social aspect. I'm a hugger and that's a problem when the huggee is someone you've been jumping with for decades. I'm sure you know it, but only 4 jumpers packed as tight is only a psychological advantage.
-
Wendy, To divert, what is your thinking on how this will play out amongst up jumpers? Will most be ready to pack into airplanes like sardines, and no worries, as soon as the first all clear signal blows? I'm guessing no.
-
Phil, Wendy's point implied that Americans, if I understood properly, were more predisposed to disregard rules than other nationalities. My personal experience tells me otherwise.
-
Seriously? I guess you've never been on an Italian train or in the no smoking area in a restaurant in Firenze. If that's the standard pretty much anywhere in Asia is more American than America.
-
No kidding. I doubt those yo's could re-open the Cheeto's bag.

Obviously, with his qualifications, he was under consideration. Unfortunately, from time to time, he has fleeting moments of lucidity which ruled him out. I believe our own polymath Turtlespeed will do an outstanding job and also fit in on day one.
-
Beats me, but as I look at the assembly of worthies I see that if the bottom three are moved a bit further right (never left) there is room for another expert. Turtlespeed?
-
Relax everyone, this will only sting for a second.
-
Are you a daytime stoner or was this your first attempt at a double entendre? I sure hope no poor bastard is shut in with you during this mess. FYI, HRC wasn't my prescription she was simply who was on offer against Trump.
-
We'll beat that out of you. No worries.
-
I'll catch shit for saying it but I'm convinced it was simple misogyny for a majority of voters. They'll give lip service to being all about equal rights here and elsewhere but they simply can not see a woman in being charge of the nation. You just know they thought "get the bitch" when Trump called her a nasty woman during the debates and as a practical matter they are not too opposed to pussy grabbing, either.
-
We are doomed. Totally Doomed. And there will still be posters on this site who think Trump was the best choice available in 2016 and will be again in 2020. We need a new slogan: if you couldn't see this coming with 20/16 vision you damn sure won't see it coming again with 20/20.

Sister, you got the bod for it and it's grocery store attire.

I'll check with the stripper supply house in Portland if you want. They have everything!

FIFM The following is a lame attempt at humor: Unreasonable expectations for responsible suggestions are a serious problem not only on SC these day's but for the world in general. I remain hopeful that things will turn around and the best day's of wit, sarcasm, snarkiness and plain just not giving a fuck are still ahead. In the meantime hang in there the best you can.

Additionally, especially in northern Italy, living in extended, multi generational family units is somewhat common.
