  1. According to my network of spies, busybodies and eavesdroppers Luke has gone full Mea Culpa on social media claiming that it's all on him and he didn't tell anyone about the denial. Sounds about right, right?. Now everyone else, Red Bull, Skydive Arizona, Andy, possibly USPA etc. just need to post that they were regrettably too disorganized mentally to ask about the request for permission from the FAA that everyone was most certainly aware was being made. You, know, Pilot Certificates and reputations and such being at risk. That, or Luke needs to disclose that when they asked he lied. To quote Paul Harvey, it is now time for "the rest of the story".
  2. Mifepristone and Misoprostol each have 2 year shelf lives, although it's probably longer and I don't think taking a double dose is a great risk if potency is a worry. Really, concerned mothers and fathers and sexually active women and men in crazy America might just lay in a stock while the getting is good. But it still doesn't change the assault on other privacy based rights to come unless, obviously, they come up with a gay, trans, or black pill and then just imagine the Matrix level stress wondering if it's the Red one that cures you or the Blue one that converts you.
  3. You'll need to clarify threatens another life. For example, to date no aborted fetus has been convicted of mayhem or assault whereas many children have been caught squashing lizards and pulling the wings off flies.
  4. I should have stated Lithium Battery powered as opposed to electric. My error.
  5. As electric everything catches on, I'll be looking for an oil price decrease. It's not just EV's. Recently I bought an electric weed whacker and an electric leaf blower and both completely kick ass on my top of the line Stihl units. The future is already here for anyone willing to look.
  6. Be it an Ecclesiastical Court or the United States Supreme Court there is ample precedent for religious fanatics taking the law into their own hands. What's new?
  7. Republicans are the priests of politics in every domain. The important bit to note is that nothing will come of that transgression or any others committed by any of the other innumerable Republican others. Unless we can get all of the voters who didn't think that preventing the promised overturning of Roe was worth a trip to the polls in 2016 to the polls in 2022 the party is officially over.
  8. Another thing we don't know from factual reporting is who the owner is of the land on which the aircraft crashed. Skydive Arizona? Probably not. More likely BLM or similar. If they pulled the stunt over Public Lands without permission there would have been no "safe area" as any member of the public could have been below recreating.
  9. Fair enough. Some of us southerners aren't sure how to describe Canadian politics. Maybe, and without referencing our banana republics failings, you could enlightenment us.
  10. For now, let's do. Every effort must be towards financing the messaging effort. However, if the Democrats don't come out of the box with knives and serious commitment then we're done. Spend your donations on wine instead.
  11. You can jump within the confines of an existing Parachute NOTAM with the permission of the entity that filed and/or is responsible for maintaining the NOTAM. When I get some time I'll sort out who might have a NOTAM around Eloy.
  12. So it's Roberts who wants to do every thing possible to find the leaker. He's shocked, shocked to find out there is a leaker in the house.
  13. That's exactly the case. What a sad, sorry, state of affairs we are in. I guess as I'm not a fertile female I shouldn't care. It's not my woke problem, bad laws that harm innocents are common to the point of banality as anyone aware will tell you, and I wasn't planning on travel to a Florida abortion clinic anytime soon so my travel plans are intact. The only real problem is they don't use Tesla batteries to perform abortions or we could gloat over that, too.
  14. He's not only an elected official and professional skydiver, his family owns and operates a large DZ in my region. Personally, I like Luke and Andy, but if they really did willfully disregard a written denial from the FAA it is unforgivable and the consequences should be severe and supported by USPA.
  15. Let's just hope the Democrats find some spine and learn how to dominate the news cycle and that translates into votes.
  16. Formation flights usually have only one aircraft with a transponder code and in communication with ATC.
  17. Justice Alito has drafted a full throated rebuke of Roe. Cheer on conservatives.
  18. Short of presuming, I think I get your point. I'm just not one to observe historical societal trends as a methodology for determining what I do instead of first considering whether something rubs me right or wrong. But that's me. After posting this I received a fair amount of feedback away from here. I think I have a better handle on it now, for me. I'll concede that it's mealy mouthed and etc. but I will visit family and friends and attend important events that are signature. I also won't do anything that negatively affects anyone who relies on me. Hopefully after those limitations there are some things I can boycott.
  19. Seriously? Was this your first attempt at a selfie?
  20. Was this really flown out of Eloy Airport as reported? Skydive Arizona's Parachute NOTAM might have been the cover. I have to believe a USPA National Director would have helped out a USPA Regional Director, why not? I'm getting a bit curious if anyone at USPA, besides Luke, knew that the stunt jump was specifically not authorized by the FAA.
  21. Absolutely, in fact the truly serious would be moving to a new globe. Don't let anyone tell you that the depth and breadth of this, or any other issue, is beyond your ken.
  22. Maybe he was thinking, well, Mike got away scott free and Chuck thinks I'm brilliant and that it's a cool stunt and they always say go big or go home and if anyone at the FAA or anywhere else doesn't like it they can go screw themselves. I was rooting for them to succeed. For certain they had more than enough talent to pull it off if they'd only done the airplane bit properly. However, blowing off the FAA is not forgivable. Blowing off the FAA while being a USPA official is both selfish and dumb. Whatever the FAA will do is beyond control. That said, Luke should resign immediately and, in the hope of regaining some lost credibility, he should depart with an official, scathing, rebuke from the USPA.
  23. Under you can't make this shit up, in my Group Member feed USPA is offering a seminar in Crisis Management. I totally snorted tea on my keyboard seeing that.
  24. Circling back to your earlier observations, it now seems apparent that there is a difference between home schooling and university when it comes to engineering.
