It depends....on the groups (RW, FF, etc), the wind speed, and your ground speed. Do a search on "exit separation" and you'll find enough material to keep you reading for hours. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

For my personal comfort level, I'll go for my main (Stiletto 190) at/above 1500', and my reserve below that. I've got over 300 jumps on my Stiletto and I know its opening characteristics enough. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

I have a G3 M4 and I keep a Stiletto 190 in it and it fits great.

You're not going to find the iPod at WalMart. You can get it at BestBuy, CompUSA, Ultimate Electronics, Circuit City, etc....think "boutique" stores here. One good thing though is that they all carry it for about the same price.

Stainless steel hardware,... is it really necessary?

I've had nickel hardwware on my Mirage, which I've had for the last 3 years. Not only was it 1/2 the price of stainless, I think it looks better. My rig has gotten wet several times. A few times from ponds, and about 5 times from washings. I've got zero corrosion. -
