Sorry I didn't post this sooner, things have been a bit hectic! It's official! Benjamin Miles Martinez decided to make it in time for Christmas and was born at 7:30 PM on 12/19/2007. He weighed 4 pounds, 14 ounces and is up to almost 6 pounds now. He made it home on Christmas Eve and mommy (the lovely Dagny) and him are doing fantastic! Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Yes, folks, it's official. The lovely Dr. Dagny and I are expecting our first, due January 28th! I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. We had been trying for almost two years, but thanks to the moden miracle of IVF, our first little monkey is on the way! My wife and I have 5 carpet sharks (ferrets) and they don't smell as long as you change their litter box and take care of them. They're affectionate & hilarious and we wouldn't trade them for anything. As for snake vs ferret... if you put 1 ferret in the same cage with 2 or 3 venemous snakes, welll, lets just say that I wouldn't bet on the snakes. Oooh! What part? If you're going near Stockholm, check out Gamla Stan (the old town area) and if you're homesick for bad American food, there's an Applebee's in the hotel district that I recommend that you stay away from! The National Museum is a great way to spend a day, and if you're a shopper, you have to go to the Nordiska Kompaniet department store.

Definitely get the Console or Elite versions with the hard drive. And, like ClownBurner said, don't worry about having to have HDMI. You're not going to notice that much of a difference. The main advantages of the Elite is it and the controllers are black (they look dead sexy) and it has the bigger hard drive. And if you do get the elite, forget the $50 HDMI cable. Use either component, or go to www.newegg.com and get an HDMI cable for less than $15. I'm running 4 HDMI cables from there and have had no problems at all with them in my home theatre. I've had mine for over a year and have had zero problems with it. As for the HDMI, I'm running mine via component cables @ 1080i and it's gorgeous as is.
