    Sounds a little familiar to me. My first jump was a 260 sq ft canopy, then I got downsized to a 230, the only way I knew was by looking at my logbook. I went from a wing loading of ~0.77 to a wing loading of 0.87.

    I agree with just about everyone here, you're friend won't accept help until he or she wants to. They have to hit bottom and start wanting to get help. You've done a wonderful thing by attempting to help him, sometimes the person with the problem doesn't see it or doesn't want to admit it, but ultimately, it's going to have to be their initiative to get help.

    Here's hoping the terrorists wise up and turn themselves in to the proper authorities peacefully (namely, the US Armed Forces) Failing that, here's hoping the terrorists each have a grenade detonated in close proximity to their lice ridden heads. I have no problem wishing bad things happening to bad people.

    I know this will prolly anger a few, but I'm not all that impressed with Tolkien's writing skillz. The books are not bad, I certainly wouldn't call them great. I did see all three movies and liked them all, though.

    Has anyone seen the commercial for the new/old Halo game? The master chief is on some sort of space station, decompresses the room and does the ultimate HALO jump? (And no, it's not a jumping game, its a FPS game) So... Would ya? If the technology could support something like that? Sign me up.

    The only thing I worry about is annoying people with my constant questions. None of my whuffo friends will even consider jumping out of an airplane, so I can regale them with tales of my all-too-few AFF experiences, and they're still impressed. Seriously, walking away from a landing is enough for me, the only people I want to prove anything to is my JM's, prove that I can be an attentive student and learn from their experience.
