Eloy dz.com Boogie. Well, judge that after you meet me.

Fox, Sangiro can certainly stick up for himself just fine, but I just thought I'd throw out a friendly word of advice to you first. Read a lot, think a lot, then post a little. I don't see Sangiro throwing out bad advice about skydiving. He is knowledgeable, but even so, he has appointed experts in various fields as moderators. Seems pretty responsible to me. Do you have some axe to grind with him? If so, you might want to take it to private messages. We generally like the site, which is why we keep coming back. I've found it to be run with a fair and even hand. In my opinion, you are starting off here looking like an ass. You may want to consider taking a pause on the posting until you fully understand what the site is about and the spirit with which it is run.

My first posts were also in the old forums, but here is my first one in the currently searchable forums. Funny that it is a topic that very recently came up again from someone's reminder. And I'm still happy that I can do a good PLF, even though I need them a lot less.

Anyone know how much it would cost to ship surfboard?
jfields replied to Viking's topic in The Bonfire
My guess is that it couldn't go by USPS because it is oversized. Probably UPS, Fedex, or by some form of freight carrier. Might even be too big for UPS. -
Okay. And snowballs (like tomatoes) are generally as deadly as shotgun blasts aimed at people? I'm not saying what the tomato-throwers did was right, but the response was a pretty severe overreaction, don't you think. Do you think it makes sense to drive by the people throwing tomatoes four times, to intentionally see if they will do it again? Does that make it justified as self defense when they do?
-
It is a damned good thing that guy in the car was carrying a weapon. And he exhibited great restraint by only driving by and daring the tomato throwers three times. Maybe he was allergic to tomatoes. He clearly had justification for using deadly force. What kind of message would it have sent the "crazed Amish perps" if he had just gone to a car wash and let them get away with it? They would think they could throw tomatoes without being shot. We can't have that. The greater crime of tomato-throwing must be deterred by more civilized lethal use of firearms.

Having it with your spouse?

Is there a dz.commer you would most like to meet in person?

I'd have to say... Spectre230 and ClintonRadloff Ya kinda had to be here. -
Someone has been reading his SAT prep books recently.

You should go. Tell them you are applying for the duck position, then quack real loud.

Skydive Arizona Dropzone.com 2nd Annual Holiday Boogie
jfields replied to sangiro's topic in The Bonfire
I second that nomination. Viking, you are hereby the official hugger of dysfunctional, dirty and smelly 's. Get to work. Katie, you can coordinate with SkyOne to get the list of 's fitting that description. -

You had better specify which , or you'll be getting hugs from Ass or something. -
Speaking of which, BB, now seems like a good time to drum up some more charity auctions and stuff for purchase by the people that will be in Eloy. Many people didn't bid before, because they had no idea when/if they would get to collect their charity prizes. We have at least 90 people who are definitely going. I'm sure the pre-Eloy PWing will require some additional bandwidth or something. Besides, it isn't like you are busy planning the final details for a boogie or anything. I'm sure you have tons of time.

Computer translations are pretty obvious, but they can be useful for researching... or taunting people in a language in which you have zero knowledge. Hypothetically, of course.

I don't know them as well, so it wouldn't feel right. You are very loved by many, but in a prison-sorta way.

We could make the French one yellow. [/insensitive non-serious French bashing]

At Meunkel, or my singing? Not that it makes a difference, really...
-
Don't worry. I'll leave you alone in your little kingdom. Why bother? Any language that is so uptight that they need to specify an officially-sanctioned non-anglicized term for "e-mail" is way too uptight anyway.

Don't let the secret out prematurely! HH is keeping him on standby for the Blind Spotting Forum in braille.

Il a dû érafler le fond du baril en vue de vous ayant votre tour dans le baril.

I didn't realize how desperate HH was for help. He is really scraping the bottom of the barrel here. Are the old-skool greenies going to have twisted initiation rites on the newbie greenies? Then again, what is twisted to "J'aime mes orignaux!" Remster? See, French isn't so hard.

Just don't choose a spoon. That would take too damned long.

Vallerina, For someone to take a stab at helping you with those questions, you'll actually need to provide a whole lot more information. For example: Current salary Current living expenses Time until expected house purchase College debt/student loans Etc. I'm not saying you should post this information here. But to get a better picture of your finances, someone will need to know it. There is no "one size fits all" financial advice worth taking. There are also questions about your risk tolerance and attitude towards money. For example, you got one "screw it, spend it all" response. Some people live like that. Their choice. I'm more of a saver. I want a nice cushion for the rainy day, and to have a nice retirement. The advice you get ought to be tailored to your preferences. I am not any type of certified financial planner, but if you are interested, PM me and I'll give you some ideas. The first tidbit of financial advice is not to sign a power of attorney over to Remster. He'd invest your life's savings in feed for his moose.

That just puts a whole new spin on "giving head". Yikes!
