My brother and I raised birds that were injured that were going to be put down....this birds wing was busted so we took it in, cared for it till it died a few years later. He was super cool....took him a lot of time for him to realize we meant no harm.... I have also had numerious rats, and mice......they usually dont live to long after entering my house....maybe I should get rid of the python... I hate when people are eating and drag their teeth along the fork or spoon....all you hear is that *cling scratch* of their teeth and it gives me the chills and I want to get up and leave. When its 40 out and I am still wearing a T-shirt and people consitantly tell me...."its cold out there, put on a coat." Hey I am 23 I know when to wear a coat damn you. People who just because I am somewhat young over look me in the work place. At my last job I took pride in keepingupwith current stuff and to try and know everything possible so I could truly help the customer. Then they come in look at me, ask me what the problem is....I tell them, they say no and run to the boss, and he tells them the same thing. Those people are the ones who I want to run up to and Go.,..."Haha you stupid SOB, you think I stand behind this counter because I want too you fool? I might actually know what I am talking about, ever thing of that you piece of crapola!" usual: Dogs, cats, rabbit, parakeets, hampsters, gerbils, gineau pigs, geckos and boat loads of fish. Un-usual: Snakes, Red-tail hawk, blue jays, wood peckers, Robins...all of those are birds...just some weird pets, chickens, ducks, salamanders....and we even had a racoon that would come to the house and we would feed outof hands and pat.....how F'd is that? my pet peeves are when people post stuff thats already been posted!!!! I have some but I think RkyMtnHigh has touched on the majority.....some others are cutting from the middle of the stick of butter, and leaving food crumbs in the butter. Leaving the VCR on after you use it so the Tv is blue the next time I go to watch it, and i have to get back up and shut the VCR off to watch Tv. Thats about it..... My life in 2003 has been pretty darn good! I graduated from school and got so many job offers I had to decide where I wanted to go. Enjoyed the job, boss was an arse-hole-amea....but hey what can ya do!?Found unconscious on my floor, rushed to the ER, put in for surgery....received nothing but grief from the boss, but hey. I worked the whole summer and then moved to Atlanta for the winter to work at a course down here. Great job, great boss, great co-workers.....but not something i could see myself doing for an extended period of time. Started skydiving, love it, met some incredible people through it. Its been a year or firsts from skydiving to other things......and I am in Love. Wrap up: 2003 0wn3d all!!! The family I am currently staying with for the winter is huge into drag racing. The father is NHRA's World Champ for 1980-82. They get together with racing friends and talk about "the good ol days"... How their friends are Mr. Shelby, John Force, and a whole bunch of drag racing legends... Its interesting to talk to them about when they were younger and on the road. His name in racing was "The Possum" and he raced prostock drags. Ok I have to say this because it has pissed me off since I saw the video....the Max X video where the guy pulled his cutaway handle....Scott Lutz is his name. He goes through and describes what "he" did and how the JM's just ditched him according to the narrator. If you watch the video no where in there does he look up and note the canopy coming out.....like he says he does. They say there is only 1000FT of space between him and the ground....from the time he is back in freefall to the time the reserve opens he would have been kaput a long time ago....I am sorry I am ranting....but JM's teach us students a lot, the patients they must have is amazing.....this guy makes a mistake, Jm's bail him out and save his life, then he takes all the credit....but wait he is not finished.....he lands in powerlines? I like the T.U.G. comment but being a golf pro .....can I say we dont want Scott Putz..opps I meant Lutz. Sorry that might sound mean...but he gave no credit to where credit was accually due. I think people often limit themselves as to say "I only date skydivers" when in fact you should date someone you feel you have a connection with...skydiver or not. I am just lucky that the girl I find amazing jumps, and is an all around incredible person.
