I will be going back to Oregon Aug 15-31 to pick up my truck and belongings. If the trip is a weekend then I'd most likely be able to make it. As I just got back things are kinda hectic. I have Zero experience with BASE jumping. My Cell is 719-964-5173

Flew into colorado springs this morning. I'm going to love this place, theres mountains everywhere. The Army's got me up in a hotel untill I find a place for myself off post. Any one wana do the Continental Divide Trail with me? Edit-spell

May not be any help since I can't remember what the place is called or where it was other than Austria. I guess you could call it Alpine too because the top lift takes you higher than any peak within view, and the view goes forever! Austria is very beutifull and Vienna is a cool city to visit. Went there for my 21st B-day.

Stats for the year(my platoon of 32 men) -Days in Country: 355 -Insurgents Killed: 20+ -Civilians killed: 10 +/- (including a shieks bodyguard) -Humves Destroyed: 5 out of 10 -I.E.D's blown on us: 30+ -KIA: 3 -WIA: 6 -Rockets that hit our baracks: 4 -Shot at by Marines: 4 -Marines told to fuck off: 50 -Atitank Rockets accidentaly shot into the Air: 1 -Haji buildings destroyed: 2 -Haji buildings accidentaly lit on Fire: 1 -Haji cars destroyed: 75+ -Refridgerators raided when Black on Water: 1

Well If anyone is curious my request to stay got denied. Some General In Colorado thinks we've had enough after back to back deployments already. So after 5 years overseas I will finaly be coming back to the states(in AUG)

When I had 60 some jumps I did an RW jump with a bunch of oldtimers. At the end of the dirt dive they said "well break away at 2,500 does anyone have a problem with that". I just kept my mouth shut and made the jump. I tracked to long and my audible recorded a 1,100 opening. I remember thinking how big the palm trees looked as I was dumping. Good thing I was jumping an original saber then.

Don't sell it, keep passing in down. I found a German Model 98 rifle over here in Iraq. It was stamped 1943 and also had a swastika on the reciever and bolt. It was well kept. I had tears in my eyes when I had to turn it in for destruction. What a shame...

Every day if I can. My record is 31 days with the same pair while deployed to Hungary a few years back. I cut thoes off with a knife then peeled them off with a tree branch.

Im awake all by my lonesome. Just got back to Iraq tonight from R&R leave and Im seriously jet lagged even though the return trip took a week. Its 3:21AM here.
