he lives in the usa most of the time now but when he comes back i dont know where he stays i heard he bought a house or 2 or 3 in australia lol but his parents and brother still live accross the road well its next to the house accross the road when he used to live here he had 2 bob cat (little bull dozers) and the track was always changing Ant mounds we used to call them as thats what they look like a lot of ant mounds every where the riders would be up in the tree's (big air) bit to scary for me ill stick to skydive atleast that way when i know its time to come down i got a parachute to pull I read in the paper the bit about him giving the money to the guy , thats the way to go i used to go to pre school with his girlfriend that was about 17 years ago lol got a lift home with him once from this concert back in about 99 , he seemed pretty detirmand that he was gunna go all the way said he dont drink or anything which was different to his other friends haha anyway take care on ya bike Matt

hi I just found the crease ran up and down directly in front of my eyes like there is 2 creases so they can bend and i didnt like it but maybe its cos they were like tight and im just not used to having anything press against me face lol I have a pair of clear saftey glasses that are a very similar wrap around style layout to most oakleys so they stay on tight and are very aero dynamic nad best of all the frame and all is clear as well as the lense and they are strong as they are industrial streanght saftey glasses i might look around for them and if i can find them after i do a few more stages if my AFF ill ask if i can wear them

ive only jumped once so far and i never seen the plane i was never told to look at the plane actually i was only told once i landed to do up down up horizen arch which is what i plan doing next time as i think it will get my head up more insetad of up down up arch I had no idea where the plane went i remember feeling as if i was going over backwards lol and could see losts of sky and no ground then all of a sudden i could see the ground and was relaxed and as for seeing the instructors i never seen or felt them once for all i knew i could have been on me own up untill i did me practice look reach pull and felt the shake and realised they were there lol but i still never seen them i loved the canopy ride but i was in a lot of pain from the opening my legs got rammed into my hip joints and i got a lot of bruising could hardly even walk for the next 3 days lol hope its a easier opening this weekend

Research on Injuries Sustained from Hard Openings.
cesslon replied to patrickweldon's topic in Safety and Training
ive only done 1 jump before which was 2 days ago and i have very sore hips from the opening but i aint sure if this is a normal thing or not do other sky divers here experience this or was my opening slightly harder then normal -
arrghhh this is like a car accident ive had a car accident before where i felt fine till the next morning when i woke up all sore and stiff my hips are very sore but were fine yesty when my chute deployed it absoloutly cained my leg's (where the leg strps are) for a split second , it was like a massive instance friction burn lol but today my hips are very sore feel's as though the big rip with the leg straps ripped my legs up into my hips (not literally as they are still in tact) and now my hips are to sore to go for my daily run is this a normal thing or did i have a harder opening then useal or could it have somthing to do with me having my feet near my ass and not way out with my toes pointing out

Finally had a good day with good weather today and did my first jump from 11,000 feet first time in a plane and would have been happy with the plane ride by its self but the jump was a good bonus i wouldnt say there was any rush involved except me rushing towards the ground lol i had prepaired for this a lot in me head but it was enjoying i found the most Previous unexperienced feeling to be when i first let go and arched and couldnt see the ground but could feel me self falling I found this to be a great experience and have learnt a lot my main things to work on for my next jump will be pointing me toes out as i was arching heaps at the top of me body and not paying to much attention to me toes and bringing my feet into my ass I cant wait to do my second stage which with luck *good weather* next weekend ill be jumping again then Matt

In my country the USO (United states of OZ) Australia lol there is a tower being built (well more of a building) that will be a little over 1KM High or 3000 feet it will be 1Km high at the top and 3 Km wide at the bottom its going to be this big sollar energy thing , the tower will be like a Huge chimy with Fans in the centre and hot hair from solar panels on the 3KM circle on the ground will rise up the centre of this tower to 3000 feet in the air spinning the fans inside generating electricity this will be built out in the desert in the state of Queensland. and it will have a Observation deck on top and a elevator running up the side for matainence perpouses but also for a look out I aint a base jumper so i dont know if there is mant taller towers then this but i do know id like to Jump it
-
I my self am not a base jumper and am only booked into start my AFF course as im waiting for the date in 2 weeks and cant wait to start so i think i can kinda speak as a outsider of this sport and i think mr Stout is grieving greatly and doesnt want his son's death to become just another statistic I agree with the written document on the back of the helmet or in a lawyers office or what ever being a good idea but im sure if i was starting out in base and i was at some bridge getting ready to jump and there was a pocked screwd onto the railing with a free pamphlet in it id take a moment to have a read of it , as the more i can learn the better and if i only learn 1 small thing then im sure 1 minute of reading was worth it providing this pamphlet isnt compulsary to read then i cant see how any of you have problems with it but if its more then a pamphlet then i can see how and being that you's live in the USA (United states of Attorney's) i can see the liability thing as even the person who makes the printer that prints these , say Cannon or lexmark could be classed as liable for making printers that they knew could be used to make pamphlets lol Peace to all and Mr Stouts family Matt

how many levels does this have ? in australia AFF is 9 levels
-
i just seen his profile and it says "Home DZ: Skydive Elderslie" if thats elderslie australia thats my local DZ which i was booked into start my AFF this friday , i had been booked in for 2 weeks and my old man got a call this morning from them asking him to tell me that a wedding has come up at the dropzone this weekend so now i have to wait till the 25th seems strange that all of a sudden a wedding appears that they didnt know about untill today Im guessing its a possibility that they maybe having the weekend off for somthing to do with dwain and not actually a suprise wedding. Maybe they didnt wanna scare my dad lol or maybe there really is a wedding either way if dwain is from that dropzone my sympathies for his friends there
