hmm all this is very interesting, i would just imagine that there would be people at a high preformance level that need things created to their own personal prefrance, and i know that a customised rig with the manufactures help would be the solution. It would just be cool to jump your own and live.

Can a rigger make and design a whole new rig and container systems from scratch? what i mean is if he/she wanted a atom classic but couldn't afford it or couldn't get one could they just build one around what a friends looks like? would it be aloud or is there lots of engeneiring issues to condtend with here. I was just interested to know becuase riggers can patche chutes and fix brokens lines so wouldnt you evenutally be able to make a few of your own things if you could do it competantly?

thanks for all the info, the only part i was actually concernd about was the exit, i hate rollercoasters they scare the shit out of me, though i find it strange that i like airline turbulance (even been ove the atlantic when you plane is struck by lighting ****ing fun/scary) i herd from my physics teacher at school that sky diving is just like flaoting in space and since i ain't in a rush to be a astronaught this is about as good as it comes. anyway i can't wait to make that first jump. yeah i thought it would be something like that. im thinking i might join up with the military as a parachute rigger (maybe) in Australia Army parachute riggers have to be freefall qualified to be able to hold their rigging status, so if fugure it can't hurt to get payed to dive and pick up trade certificutes in rigging. plus all the big aircraft to jump from Build a man a fire and he will be warm for a night, set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.???

i havn't got any jumps under my belt yet because Im just waiting till i turn 18(mum and dad won't let me) then its tandem and if i like it (which i will) i will then do AFF. I just have one question. what is the feeling you experience when you jump out of the plane? is it like on a rollercoasta where your stomach is in circles for a second or is it just falling and not gittin the floor that scares this shit out of people.????
