? I have very little time and experience in sport compared to you Jim, but I really don't think I have much problem sorting out the "I'm morbid because it's cool and edgy and I don't really feel jack shit about real empathy" crowd from the humans. Accepting mortality and joking about it is in no fucking way the same as mocking it and denying the value of an individual life. Owned by Remi #?

It's just a jump to the left And then a step to the right Put your hands on your hips You bring your knees in tight But it's the pelvic thrust That really drives you insane Let's do the time warp again! Let's do the time warp again! Owned by Remi #?

Way too many but fewer than average. You guys sound like you are rating a fucking video game for carnage value.... that's WAY more of a WTF than the premise of this thread. Seriously WTF? Step up and grasp the idea that you are discussing other loving, real people here. Owned by Remi #?

new kid on the block for the worlds highest skydive

Can we request an IQ test for anyone attempting a stunt that brings skydiving into such a public light? Please? Owned by Remi #? -
Is it really a coincidence that the videographer goes belly to earth about a second before the AAD fires? Owned by Remi #?

I thought the story was that a skydiver hitting a see-saw at terminal velocity was exactly the force needed to launch a six pack of beer to 14000 feet Owned by Remi #?

I don't fully understand your reasoning behind finishing your EP's with a reserve above my head. If my RSL beats me to the punch, and there is a reserve above my head, at this point I am more worried about the three s's, where I am, how high I am etc, not pulling a hanging silver handle that literally is connected to nothing. Anyways, seems like yet another thing people are stressing to much about, an RSL did its job, great, you didn't pull silver, who cares, your alive, the piece of safety equipment you are using worked properly. Good, now get your ass to the ground without getting hurt. Seems like backwards reasoning with a reserve above your head to grab silver with both hands and pull hard, THEN check your already open canopy. -Evo One does not go from cutaway to RSL deployment of reserve to a fully deployed reserve instantly. It takes a few seconds and in those seconds it's not a bad idea to be proactive and pull the reserve handle. If you go from cutaway to reserve over your head without doing anything you're either wasting time or failing to take action that might make a difference. Owned by Remi #?

I stopped paying my bills 3 months ago in...... (say it) anticipation of this.... are we there yet? Sigh. Owned by Remi #?

Congrats.....but..... how did you manage that? Or perhaps you didn't. Having an A license is one of the requirements to get a B. Owned by Remi #?

Joking aside, an orange is NOT a skyball. A skyball is filled with weight such that it has enough mass to fall as fast as a human. There's a HUGE difference between the mass of a skyball and that of an orange. I'd never claim that dropping a skyball in freefall was safe. Owned by Remi #?

Edit to add that I stand humbly corrected: You are correct, sir. Vorpal citrus fruits might well bore a hole through the planet if dropped from high altitudes. Second edit: Considering the possible effects of dropping a really dense orange on the planet makes one uber aware just how vulnerable we are to the possibility that some really anti-social skydiver might decide to drop a pomegranate over a populated area. That's an awesome pic. A penny dropped from the Empire State Building has roughly the same mass as an unladen European swallow. An orange dropped in freefall has roughly the same mass / impact effect as an African swallow carrying a ripe coconut . I hope that's a sufficient technical analysis. Owned by Remi #?

Don't be such a drama queen. It's only an orange. It will reach terminal velocity in a very short time and it will not become a North Korean nuclear missile if it's dropped in freefall. There isn't much difference between the impact of said fruit dropped from the roof of a 2 story house vs dropped from 14000 feet. Owned by Remi #?

That's an assumption that's dangerous and unnecessary. If you are looking at your handles you know where they are. You know you aren't yanking on a fold of your shirt or jumpsuit instead of your handles. You aren't wasting valuable time and altitude making assumptions. Sure, if you can't see the handle then following your MLW down to where you think it is is a great idea, but why start the process without engaging every asset you have, including your eyes? And if you can see the handle, why waste time getting to it? Owned by Remi #?

The reason for this is if they were to actually sell the software, they'd have to include the source code. *** I can't imagine where you got that idea. A software developer can easily sell you complete ownership of a binary file without having to provide source. Some still choose to just sell you the right to only use the binary. In this way they protect themselves from having you reverse engineer back to the source and claim that it was your right to do so because you owned the thing. They are closing a loop hole, not acting under duress to give you source. I suspect that you might be confusing open source licensing agreements with business and legal defenses. It's like saying that KFC is obliged to give you their secret recipe because you bought a piece of chicken. Owned by Remi #?

Virgin isn't wrong. And for the record, I'm not a dude, I'm a woman and I'm a lesbian. I didn't say that I felt disadvantaged. I asked you to: "Site a few examples where it is "in fact" not a disadvantage to be gay." Gotta go.... my popcorn is burning and I'm late for the weekly gay militant agenda meeting. And Mark: I'm so sorry I couldn't make it. I hadn't made my monthly conversion quotia so I spent the weekend cruising band camps for vulnerable young women. Owned by Remi #?
