My software development internship has been going really well. Today they asked me if I wanted to stay on after graduation and when I said yes they said "Good, that was our intention". Woo Hoo! No hunting for a job when I graduate! Having benefits that actually are worth the money! Woo Hoo! Now the 6" of snow that fell last night can't dampen my spirits! And I get to go to sunny FL on friday - this is turning into a good week! Jen Arianna Frances

I bet the harddrive players work the same as my flash player. I have a software interface (a program) that came with it, and it makes deleting and adding really easy. There are other ways to do it besides the software but thats the easiest. Jen Arianna Frances

They use the same cards that some digital cameras do (the cheaper ones anyway). The player I have is called a flash player - where ones like the IPOD are hard drive players. Dropping a hard drive player is a bad thing! So cost gets more if you have lots of cards, but on one 256 card (plus there is memory already built into the player) - I can get over 4 hours of music. I haven't put in another card for a few months now cause I like the mix I've got on my current card. I've gotten memory cards on EBAY for cheap, but I have about 8 of them now - which I use interchangably between my MP3 player and my camera. There are lots of things to look at. Since your son is in the HS age bracket, an IPOD would be more desireable as far as theft goes, and dropping them (IIRC he's into sports and stuff right?) could cause damage. I've dropped my Rio in the bathtub (after a day it was fine!) and off the exercise equipment at the gym and it keeps on going! Jen Arianna Frances

Hi Andrea, I have the Rio Forge MP3 Player. I got it because its expandable, allowing me to store differnet playlists on different memory cards that can be inserted easily. It also has a FM radio player (not great range, but it works) so when I'm at the gym and want to get a radio station, I can. Its only $159 at Best Buy, and its rough and tough! I've been doing alot of musical 'soul searching' the past few weeks... and spent quite a bit of time going through old records. Listened to YES (Faith), ELO - Electric Light Orchestra(new world record) and Rick Wakeman (journey to the center of the earth) tonight. What nice memories.

Wow... this is like looking in the mirror I'm terrified of jumping again... on one of my last jumps I crashed on the taxi-way and am just now able to do stairs again (5 weeks later, very bruised tailbone ). I have yet to stand up a landing... I'm really scared I'm going to break myself So much so that I'm spending money I would have spent on my own gear to go back to FL next week and take canopy pointers from Scott Miller at Deland. I've only heard good things about him and his school, and since your in FL (I'm in RI ) it would be easy for you to get there. I had the same surgery at 8 years old. I also went 'under' completely for it. I had been wearing very thick bifocals from age 2 - at age 14 they told me I didn't need glasses anymore
