I can't use my mom as a rolemodel - I went vegetarian for 8 years because she was such a bad cook (I still can't eat bbq chicken *shudder*)... but. I'm the same way with cooking. I don't get to experiment like I want to because there are never people to eat it... I end up throwing out alot. The hubby doesn't like alot of foods or vegetables, so it really limits what I can cook, but when I do I rarely eat... I just like that everyone else enjoys it. Now baking, I love love love to bake and do that frequently (ok, maybe too frequently). Jen Arianna Frances

Although that may be true.... my husband was just denied a promotion because he doesn't have a college degree. He's been programming since he was 7 and is really good at what he does, far better than the guy that got the job... but that guy had a degree, in art history. All it took was a piece of paper to get the job, and he didn't have it. Jen Arianna Frances

If you follow the advice of dropping out of school and getting a job that doesn't require a degree... Well, this feeling that 'skydiving is the center of everything' will wear off after a few hundred jumps and then you'll realize that you missed alot of valueable time in getting your degree but you won't have the drive to go back and finish and you'll end up doing exactly what others have mentioned... with alot of regret. Only go through the student progression if you can sell things to get the money to do - don't put it on a charge card and don't 'just do a level when you have the money' - chances are you'll end up repeating due to lots of time between jumps. Skydiving is an expensive hobby to get into... don't start until you can 'do it right'. Jen Arianna Frances

I lived on veggie subs from Subway when I was pregnant - it was the only thing that tasted good. Had to have lots of hot pepper though Jen Arianna Frances

I'm not trying to be rude, really. Just consider this a 'public service announcement'. You're coming off as a very immature child, which I'm sure you don't want to be. Being ditzy won't get you as far in this sport as being an adult... trust me. All being ditzy will get you is oggles from the equally mature guys. Seriously, this is an adult sport in which being ditzy can cost you your life, you'd do better acting it. Personally, I would never jump with someone who didn't act like an adult - attention to detail and seriousness are sometimes the only things that can save your life. Jen Arianna Frances

If you want to be able to move the next day, I don't recommend it I did 20 min. almost non-stop (very few breaks, a couple back to backs) and I was so sore the next day I couldn't move without wincing.... but it was fun! Jen Arianna Frances

DVR, is that the cable box thing that records?? I think that would mean getting cable right? I watch 1 hour of tv a week, most weeks - this show. If I got cable I think the hubby would shoot me He hasn't watched Tv since last year. Jen Arianna Frances
