I know some of you may comment about what I've said, but I have to take a step away from the forums. I'm getting married soon, and it's time to get serious about planning. Blue Skies.

If you acknowledge that everything we have is from God, then it makes it alot easier to have faith in Him. Each breath is a gift, and something we don't deserve. The penalty of sin is death, so the fact that we're allowed to continue living is amazing. We live in an age of grace & mercy. The question is, "what are you going to do with God's gift of salvation through Jesus Christ?" Accept, deny, or act indifferent to it. Salvation is a gift. Not forced, but something you have the choice to accept. I'm not entirely sure why I started this thread. I guess it's because I've encountered alot of conversation between Catholic and "Fundamentalist". I've researched informative websites and found the below links. Bible Over 97,996 Bible Questions Answered at http://gotquestions.org http://www.biblegateway.com http://www.audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html http://gotquestions.org/search.php?zoom_sort=0&zoom_query=salvation Catechism http://www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0015/_INDEX.HTM

When I think about faith, the below questions come to mind. Not to elaborate...
-
Good morning. I thought about this and can't help but consider the context of the verses, because Jesus often spoke to the crowds in parables, which is an earthly story with a heavenly meaning to illustrate different truths. John 10:9-10 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

I'm ready to explore the differences... Hope you have a fun Labor Day weekend.

Luigi and JC on Discovery Channel
BirdBabe1 replied to BirdBabe1's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
On the side note...please believe that I did know that Luigi didn't land on the bike. I was mostly thinking of their londstanding teamwork. Not too blond. -
Luigi and JC on Discovery Channel

Oh my, you're right! I must have been sleepy last night not to notice that. Thanks for clarifying. I had just received an email from JC mentioning Stunt Junkies, so I started looking at photos... I have one of Clint landing on the four wheeler with JC driving... but you're right - certainly not with the 39sq ft VX. Now that you mention it, I wonder what canopy Luigi did fly for this stunt. -

Luigi will be shown landing into a moving Corvette at 70mph on Discovery Channel's Stunt Junkie Program - Aug 30th at 10:00 PM. JC is the Corvette driver. He's proven to be a successful driver and teammate in this situation for sure. You can check out this past photo of ours... Can't wait to see Luigi's Canopy/Corvette stunt. -
I don't know too much about Kevin, but here's his site http://www.muscleheadrevolution.com Regardless of who he is, what he says has some truth to it. People often hate the good that brought them to where they are. "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."

We're doing in too! Jaxs Bch has been our home for five years now. Fernandina Beach and the First Coast is great. Olivia ...Plus Cathy will be a great DZO!

I wasn't referring that Cochees' comments were respectful or disrespectful. Honestly though, when you post on these forums, you're bound to recieve comments, whether they be good or bad. It's just the nature of people. So to expect or ask that everyone be respectful is almost an impossible request. If you (or me) truly believe what we individually do, then nothing anyone says should hurt or offend us.
-
No worries. I'm okay with what I believe in, that's all. Certainly not a figure in a piece of chocolate.

Deliberate opinion... I don't believe that Mary was a perpetual virgin. Respect that?

Bush is here to lead a nation, but he can't control the world. Especially the destiny of time that's already been laid out before this forum was ever created.

I was doing a google search on August 22nd and found the below website. It portrays a perspective that some of you may find interesting to read about. http://www.free-lebanon.com/LFPNews/2006/July/July16/July16a/july16a.html

The downfall of WFFC and Skydiving in general
BirdBabe1 replied to brenthutch's topic in The Bonfire
I understand exactly what you're saying. My feelings about past WFFC's, skydiving experiences, and loss of certain friends can be summed up in Bryan Adams' song, "Summer of '69". Things change, but life is not over yet... there are more experiences to come. Olivia ... soon to be Olivia Thompson :) -
You're welcome Lew... Our plans are to edit footage for streaming video during the next week. The video should be completed along with an update to the AirZone site on the swoop competition results. I'll let you all know when to check it out.

Sort of. The spike went up my nostril, and it wasn't pretty. It would have gouged my eye out for sure. Okay... back to the beauty part and Cocheese's dilemma...
-
Yes, that's me! My eyes are blue and reflect the surroundings too! I'm glad to have them, as I almost lost one from a Christmas decoration spike. Missed my eye by centimeters.
-
Beauty in the blue skies above, around, and in the person beholding it. It's all around.
-
Hi Chuck & Katie! I hope you guys have a smooth transition down to Florida. We love it here. I've never felt more at home. Olivia
-
Thanks! He's a super hottie for sure, and he rescued me.

Whoa! I didn't intend to turn my engagement announcment into a jet debate. I edited that comment out! I thought it was 100% approved, and I should not have included that comment in this thread. I just called Don Kirlin a few minutes ago. He said the Perris jet is arriving today at 1 PM, and that they've completed all the stated requirements. They're anticipating the final signoff later today or tomorrow morning. 98% chance in his words. Whoever is not sure about coming if the jet is the reason, just give it a few days till it all gets decided. I'm glad to have jumped the high speed jet pass in '99, and I do hope it works out this year for everyone. Take it easy.
