I've been in a bad way now for 2 weeks. Headaches, difficulty breathing, and spasmadic coughing fits. Earlier in the week I went to an urgent care facility and they gave me an antibiotic and Mucinex DM. I noticed at that time that I wasn't in nearly as bad shape when I was at the office. The rest of the week I was at home and coughing like crazy. Yesterday it got to be too much and I went back to the urgent care. Chest X-Ray, inhaler, steroids this time. Again I noticed it wasn't as bad. Came home and it immediately got worse. I started wondering if I'm allergic to something in the house (other than my teenage kids when they're here). Rox took down the tree last night and I started feeling better. Then I started thinking about Xmas past. I always seem to have this type of respiratory problem around this time of year. This year its worse because the business shut down for 2 weeks, so I was home more. WOnder how many others are allergic to Christmas trees? Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne

I posted here a few days ago about my son getting a scholarship to University of Toledo. 6k/year...not a paltry sum. I was very excited about this. My son plans a mechanical engineering future and UT has an Engineering dorm. The thought is that living with other students under the pressure of handling the engineering workload is a good idea. I agree. This weekend I find out of a "plan" my ex has formulated to "save money". It appears my son will forgo the scholarship at UT. I was surprised until I heard the rest of the story. Her plan is to allow my sone and 2 or 3 of his friends to live in one of her slumlord rentals in Akron rent free. They will then lie to the University of Akron about it and this will save housing money. I'm most certain that these 18 year olds will behave as adults and attend classes regularly.
