  1. Been chasing the gold ring for a long time and I've come to the conclusion that you never quite catch it. I know broke people and I know millionaires, and I think the broke ones are happier. The monied people I've met spend alot of time worrying and working to hang on to their stash. As for all of the advancements over time, they just give you more time for work. Long story

Had to move my driveway to the other side of my house awhile back. Those things are a blast. I was disappointed when I finished the drive because there was no more stuff to dig up. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne

  6. There will be a few small changes, but a large percentage of Americans will still have no health care. A large percentage of that group already has access to healthcare but doesn't use it, and large percentage won't lift a finger to get healthcare unless someone provides it for them. 10. I think there were more than a few reasons for that. Back then if you dumped higher than 2 grand you were considered to be wasting valuable freefall time. Didn't leave much time for problems. I can also remember alot of those no pulls were due to an equipment change and unfamiliar gear. I forget the exact sequence but people would pull red thinking that they were deploying the main?...I think it was because student gear had the main ripcord where the cutaway handle would have been...then when they realized that was wrong they would hand deploy, at which point the main would simply leave. If they had time they would try to deploy the reserve. All of this from 2 grand. That incident was repeated ad nauseum until student gear handle configuration changed to mirror experienced gear. 16. Ah...well I would say it's trying to start then. Once started, it runs ok....it kind of has that low chug, chug, chug sound but it doesn't turn off. Well, it hasn't yet! I'm still thinking fuel then. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne
  17. Had something called a "Luggable Loo" once. Nothing more than a 5 gal bucket with a seat. Worked great...kids thought it was funny. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne
  18. Terminology problem here... It sounds like it's trying to turn over or does it sound like it's trying to start? Trying to turn over would indicate a starter or battery problem. Trying to start would indicate fuel, air, or spark problem. It will do that on a few trys but when he lets the engine sit a minute or so, it will finally start. Does it run OK once it starts? Sounds like fuel to me, but it's hard to say. Fuel issues can run from a plugged fuel filter or bad fuel pump to bad injectors, and everything in between. Your mechanic will most likely start by measuring fuel pressure at the injector rail. Either way you need a qualified pro to figure it out. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne

  25. I thought it was an excellent interview with thoughtful views on both sides. Personally I'm torn on the issue, but I think it's the labels that create more division. I'm a little bit pro-life, and a little bit pro-choice. I don't fit those labels and I don't think 99% of the people in the US do either. I believe a woman should have a choice up to a point. Not sure what that point should be, and I'm talking timelines here. Ultimately, like so many other things, just repealing a decision won't stop the behaviour...it'll just push it back underground.
