  1. Uhm... ah... could just someone enlighten me? »Somewhere between the lies and truths borderlines get shady. Somewhere between the yesses and nos you can find the maybe.«
  2. *rotflmao* Well, to have that kind of effect on me you're not pretty enough for starters and besides you could be a little more... well... uhm... ah... female. »Somewhere between the lies and truths borderlines get shady. Somewhere between the yesses and nos you can find the maybe.«
  3. *counts down on his fingers* Short - nope. Dark haired - yep. Austrian - yep. Inflated sense of Destiny - nope. That's 2 out of 4 - does that make me half a megalomaniac dictator? And talking about the 'Ubermensch' - who's obsessed with swedish bikini girls, huh? »Somewhere between the lies and truths borderlines get shady. 4. Well, it's... uhm... it is... it's very portuguese. »Somewhere between the lies and truths borderlines get shady. Somewhere between the yesses and nos you can find the maybe.«
  5. Hey, thanks for the advice. I had the chance to try a Z1 this weekend and while I was sure that I'd need a 'small' one I found out that 'medium' was the right size for me. I had a pretty good feeling with the Z1 but I haven't had the opportunity to try a Factory Diver for comparison. And even if I had I still wouldn't know its flaws and disadvantages when being used in the field (e.g. lens fogging up). It's an expensive piece of equipment and I'm gonna think twice or thrice before investing my jumping money. BlueS, Mark »Somewhere between the lies and truths borderlines get shady. 6. Hey Marcus, I already did (they had two or three of them in store) and I have to admit that I didn't like them very much. Didn't make a good impression on me, the visor was hard to close/open and it was way too big - almost felt like a motorcycle helmet. I'm just asking myself if it's much of a disadvantage if my future helmet does not feature a flip-up visor. BlueS, Mark »Somewhere between the lies and truths borderlines get shady. Under no circumstances I'd go without an AAD. Better go for a used one before juming completely without. Just my 2 cents. BlueS, Mark »Somewhere between the lies and truths borderlines get shady. Somewhere between the yesses and nos you can find the maybe.«
  8. Hey guys, after I've seen bloody streaks in the face of a fellow diver who whent through a raincould this weekend I've decided to go for a full face helmet. I just can't decide between the Z1 and the good ol' Factory Diver. Any suggestions? Would be great to hear ppl which have used both and are able to compare. 12. She is, clearly to see at the original version of this photo. And the left person is male, that's for sure too. And that's all I've known since I've started this thread. I've already written an eMail to USPA if the could give me Jim Curtis' eMail-address or at least forward my eMail to him. »Somewhere between the lies and truths borderlines get shady. 13. Well, since it's the German flag on the males helmet and if they've really exchanged gears I'd say she's indeed German. My guess was that it was the male skydiver which was European. It sure does! Thanks a 1000 times! BlueS, Mark »Somewhere between the lies and truths borderlines get shady. Somewhere between the yesses and nos you can find the maybe.«
  14. Hey guys, as you may've guessed - I'm new. I've made my first static-line-jump on the 6th of June after I've tried a tandem a year before. It was then that I've decided that this incredible feeling is reason enough for me to stick to skydiving. Well, this and my skidiving girlfriend. I'm jumping at a very small, but nice dropzone in Germany, near Hannover (it's called Meissendorf - or MeiDo for short). I have 37 jumps so far, 12 of them with static line. Last sunday I passed the licence test and am now eager to get out and explore the world of skydiving. BlueS Mark mark@meido.de »Somewhere between the lies and truths borderlines get shady. 15. Hey guys, I'm a Skydiver from Germany, jumping at a very small but nice Dropzone near Meissendorf (Hannover). There is a certain picture hanging on our community building's wall (I've attached it to this posting). It happens to be my fiancée's favourite picture and since she's going to celebrate her 30th Birthday on the 6th of September I've made a reproduction of it to give it to her as her birthday gift. The only problem is, that noone has been able to tell me who these two skydivers on this photo are. The letters '-RTIS' can be seen on the female skydivers helmet, which brings me to the conclusion that her name must be CURTIS, but I don't have a clue who the male skydiver is. Do you per chance know who these two are? I'd be happy for any hint you could give me. Thanks in advance, mark@meido.de »Somewhere between the lies and truths borderlines get shady.
