    Kris knows what he´s talking about. If your straps loosen during the jump there´s something terribly wrong with the rig. Old and dirty straps do it, so a light wash with mild soap ususally helps. **** >If God meant for man to fly, He´d have given him much more money. McG, DZ EFVA dictator

    Accuracy guys like TALON, style competitionists liked RACER, ATOM is the rigger´s choise, MIRAGE for show-offs, TEARDROP is nice in naked loads... oh well, they´re all ok. If you just take the right options they´ll all be just fine. After carefully compareing the price, quality and service my choise was very obvious.     Sorry to hear bad news The time you need depends very much on the nature of inconvenience... When i broke my (one of those small potatochip -like bones on your foot) I just jumped on with those dutch wooden shoes on... Not very clever I admit.     Nice story! Sounded like a perfect day of jumping to me (it usually takes a day to do one nice jump)... First 10 jumps I was SURE I am going to die, next 10 I started to think i just MIGHT survive and later on I started to realize I ENJOYED it.     Oh my, oh my... Is skydiving really this related to drinking? No wonder my wife is so pissed... Is this tipping so common that folks are not at all embarrased about it? I would prefer some favors instead (if one really feels being in dept) like bringing a cup of coffee, helping with other newbies later on, being nice or doing some sexual favors... oops... sorry, i really did not mean that... >If God meant for man to fly, He´d have given him much more money.     In early 90´s i had a student that had some really weird ideas... We just had got rid of the old Para-Commanders and other round canopies, so we were really proud of our new square Mantas and Raiders. -Then that dumb student suggested that the sharp corners of the canopies could be more round... He claimed they might be easier to handle then! Later on when he tried the stall and got freaked out, he came with another even more stupid idea: There should be some covers on the tunnels, like air-locks which prevent the air running out of the canopy, so it wouldn´t stall that easy! The best is yet to come: The same jackass suggested that landing could be more fun if jumpers had inline skates and they landed on the runway! Oh my, oh my...     At that speed water is harder than the lawn, so... I liked the helicopter-hovering-thing but the idea of waveing to someone was just adorable! Aiming for the rigger sounds fair enough too. Well, I am the rigger so I would aim for the DZ clubhouse roof, because it is leaking.
