I do not not dispute that statement. However consider this, The U.S. are fundamentally Christian. Everything in our culture has its historical roots there. It is very difficult for non-Christians to understand intellectually what a relationship with Jesus Christ truly means. There are true believers, non-believers, and make believers. They all come under the heading Human Beings. -

I am not a fan of this one either. IMO, the U.S. Flag should be honored and displayed properly. It took me a long time to accept subdued flags on military uniforms. -

I did ponder that aspect. Now I understand the NMAAHC has removed the graphic from their website. I wonder how many of the BLM, Antifa, Moveon.Org, etc. consider them as qualities to emulate. Also, did anyone noticed the U.S. Flag was displayed incorrectly? -

All this analyzation and no one has realized they were out front with a show of force because thugs broke into their gated community and were marching down their street. Elsewhere, in Atlanta these idiots were breaking into and burning private property. They did not know whether or not the same would happen to them. These people were afraid and were demonstrating a deterrent to possible attack.

Although I saw no weapon raised from the carry ready position, the videos did record them making threatening statements such as: "This is what it's going to take." "You don't carry a sign to a gun fight." My wife and I have not visited Stone Mountain yet. If we were waiting in line for entrance and saw these guys marching toward us, I would have had my hand on my weapon.

Not much about Paso Robles itself, but Al Stephens introduced me to the Tampa Sky Divers at Z'hills when I started St Petersburg Junior College in 1965. We remained close friends until his death at Paso Robles. His ex-wife Evie came to the DZ where I was a tandem instructor to inform me of his tragedy. I visited him and earned my Instructor rating from him at the time. This was the late '80s and he invited me to come out and be one of his tandem instructors. I was living in FL at the time and turned down the opportunity. His daughter, name forgotten, was on my Gold Wings jump at Skydive Tampa Bay. About the same time frame. Back in the '60s before Al joined the ARMY he was known as "Omar the Tent Maker" because he always seemed to have gear for sale or knew where to get some. Those were military surplus days. One of his favorite sayings about skydiving was, "Ya pays your money and ya takes your chances." I miss him, good times, good memories.
