  1. Matt, I'm with ya dude. I don't mind banner ad's, it's my choice wether to click or not, but when I see clickys in threads I tend to click, just to see whats going on We all do a job & need to get paid for it, so, if your job is to advertise, make clicky ( Paid Advertisement for Aerodyne here) otherwise it seems like this site sides with this product. Or is it just me

About sums up most evenings for me, & hey, sometimes I really let go.
  3. Sorry to go on So it's not a recomandation by dz.com, or is it? I got the feeling this site leaned towards this direction. But hey, if it's a good set up, why not. Is it about the product ?
  4. So I take it is not an ad from dz.com
  5. Why is every refrence to to Aerodyne clicky ? I did not make it clicky, it happend like magic WHY
  6. I'm a Roofer by Trade & working @ 20 + ft everyday. I've often looked down & thought about PLF'ing if I fell off a roof, but I think as I hit the floor the last thing going through my head would be my boots (mabey not that dramatic), & with forward speed as well. Through my own sense of preservation & if I was the high one I would be looking to release the lower one as close to the ground as possible before serious injury was bestowed on me. IF I was the lower man I would beg to be held
  7. I still haven't heard of this, has any bloke had his nads squashed
  8. Just a question, not aimed at anybody. At speeds like that, 1500mph, would you be looking up or down, could you decide where you wanted to look, due to lack of deflectable air & stuff are you just in the hands of the air GOD'S. ?
  9. Quote I always make sure I dont have a nut under one of my leg straps before I jump. This is always been on my mind, does this happen Never read about it before
  10. How would that be for a RUSH Wonder what you could see at those speeds, things would change pretty fast.
  11. Ask about the Skydivers Handbook, as a student it has all the answers (well almost ) I think you will be looking for. A great source of info. Enjoy your Skies BTW, what was the book you were reading?
  12. What i liked about the Porter just off student status was there are only 9/10 jumpers in the plane, 2 two way's, a 3 way & 2 solos, as a student jumper the least amount of canopys in the air with you is a good thing, less to think about . BTW done all of my consols out of a Grand caravan, but it was a hugh LZ, UK DZ.
  13. Good words. Bigern13, Diden't see your post in time,
  14. We don't, the air pushes through our skin, giving us just enough oxygen till our parachute opens The Best one for me is about jumping in rain.
  15. I think thats because they (me too) don't want to get the good ole boys snagged . Is this a common thing, does it happen, haven't heard of it yet
  16. Nimitz88 If you ever ask about doing something here again, remember, talk is free at your DZ, instant human feedback =GOOD, just make sure you ask the instructors Talk, talk, talk= GOOD
  17. Saw this to. Looks like a good kick ass year for Langer. What a shame I'm not there , not that will make any diffrence I wanna go back for the partys

    TI rates in France

Neither I should have made it clearer. I was wondering how much TI's got paid in diffrent countrys, how much TI's get paid in US,France,uk. I was looking for comparisions, which contry pays the higest amount to a TI for a jump, that sort of thing.

    TI rates in France

I was looking more for the amounts, is there a preferred country because of higher rates. Cheers

    TI rates in France

What are the differences in pay for a TI in France - UK - USA etc. Also, is it possable to recruit your own clients & get more for the jump?
  21. Singed up with wuza but for some reason can't log on, I'll try again later, cheers.
  22. So It would be wise to get jumps here & take the course in UK. Are there any links to UK regs. Thanks
  23. What are the requirements to become a TI in France, how many jumps, time in sport, that sort of thing. Jumps here are cheeper than UK I think, 17euros, so getting the jump numbers up for requirements is a little easier. Thanks
