  1. I agree. Welcome to the brave now world. Guilty until proven innocent. Nope. Can't do it and this will probably end up in the courts because of that. They should just ask for every male who's been there to volunteer regardless of whether they work there and that includes family members of their patients. Let the investigators narrow it down and make them do their jobs. When Stephen Hilder was murdered during a skydiving event everyone was told they weren't allowed to leave the DZ until the cops came, after which everyone was asked to provide a DNA sample before leaving. I refused then, too.
  2. Oooh. It’s an awful crime but I don’t think anyone should be forced to provide a DNA sample unless there’s reasonable evidence that makes them a suspect. My gut feeling is that it’s probably unconstitutional. They should be asked to, sure, but I’m struggling with the mandatory part. My DNA is one of the few things I’m really really protective and paranoid over.
  3. Would this be in addition to, or instead of, spelling and grammar? They don't need any of that. As long as they learn math. I advocate firearm responsibility and gun control through NRA certified instruction. Of course you do.... Because you don’t seem to understand the difference between a critical life skill which everyone requires to be part of society, like literacy or numeracy, and an elective hobby for a subset of the population which has no relevance in most careers. Would you be OK if we taught ALL hobbies with the same classroom time as your firearm responsibility class? I’m sure the video game one would be popular - not so sure about stamp collecting.
  4. Occasionally in Edmonton it will get so cold that even treated fuel will gell. You can't start a truck unless you put it inside. And you can't even buy fuel because those pumps don't work either. I've never seen it get quite that cold in Winnipeg, but close. In my childhood -40 F was not that uncommon, but it has only made it down to about -35 F 0r -37 C in the last couple decades. The record is -47.8. But it was in 1879. Fuck. That.
  5. nope they didn't. It wasn't too many years ago they were appropriate all kinds of money for the wall. All they wants a political feather up their ass. They can fix it but they didn't Answer this - why are we needing ANY money for the wall? MEXICO was going to pay for it. I'm pretty sure I remember your messiah saying that once or twice, didn't he? Why does he need another $5bn from US on top of a ballooning deficit that he 'promised' to reduce - because he's just THE BEST at negotiating. 2016: We need a wall. A really big wall for security, and they say it’s going to cost 15 or 20 billion dollars. But it won’t, because you know what? I’m GREAT at negotiating these things. And whatever it’s going to cost Mexico will pay for it! 2018: Give me $5bn for the wall that I said we wouldn’t have to pay for or I’ll throw all my toys out of the stroller. WHAT RO YOU MEAN NO??! Why are you being so MEAN?? Truly, the guy’s a negotiating mastermind.
  6. That is what I am waiting for. 65K+ sealed indictments waiting to be acted upon. What was in those 5 shocking envelopes? The Bidens and the Bushes horrified. HRC looked very uneasy. Mike Pence buddied up HRC.??? WWG1WGA The catering bills for the funeral. That shit is expensive.
  7. and let us not forget that the biggest lie ever foisted on the American public was the Obamacare lie. Does that matter anything to you? Probably not because you're not of this country. Are all lies equal? Do quantities matter? Is the Obamacare lie equal to the ‘Mexico will pay for the wall’ or ‘I’ll reduce the deficit’ lie? Because your boy is telling over a dozen a day ON AVERAGE. And you seem to suck it up.
  8. You've been predicting SHTF for how long now? And you've been wrong every time, just as you'll continue to be wrong about it, no matter how much your warped mind wants it to happen. And no, I will not 'enjoy the show' in 2020 if you're right about the chaos. I'll fight to make things better. I'm sorry you've given up on upholding laws, decency and honor, but some of us don't have the luxury of checking out in the near future and will have to live with the shitshow you and yours will leave for us.
  9. He comes across as erudite, moderate and reasonable. He doesn’t have a chance... Let’s play a game. Let’s put ourselves in the frame of mind of a couple of our posters with regards to his comments, shall we? Who cares what those fuckers think? They’re not Americans and they’ve been getting a free ride from us for decades. America FIRST! For the first time we have a president who isn’t afraid to speak the truth and DRAIN THE SWAMP!! RINOs like Romney are exactly who President Trump is getting rid of! Etc etc. I’d do more but I’m on my phone and this takes a while. What seems reasonable to reasonable people is EXACTLY how Trump got elected in the first place. His base don’t WANT reasonable. They want ‘Fuck You! America! Woo!!’

Enough with the winning! 2018 was the worst for stocks in 10 years https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/31/investing/dow-stock-market-today/index.html Winning! National debt jumps $1.2 trillion in fiscal year 2018 https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/national-debt-jumps-1-2-trillion-in-fiscal-year-2018 Thats an increase of $9,523.00 for every single family in the US Winning! I’d love to hear rush’s twisted logic on this one given that the deficit was one of his major criticisms of the previous administration. Some how it will be Obama’s fault, I’m sure.
  11. Please define ‘safe’. I don’t want to come back here after he gets 5 years only to have you say ‘ah ha! But he was safe from 30 years!!![Q!!] Do you think Q is doing something to make Flynn ‘safe’? If so, what?
  12. The average cost of gas in the UK is $5.95. They’re still in the Paris accords. No riots over there... Your ‘out of the accords = no riots’ argument is complete nonsense.
  13. Name one person who was killed because they did a high hook and their canopy collapsed specifically because of it. Provide me the URL to the USPA fatality report. I'm guessing ChrisD is rambling about toggle-whipping, as no other type of high-speed approach would leave a canopy under-pressurized after the turn or would be done at those altitudes. As usual he's best ignored. Regardless, there HAVE been a number of fatalities from canopies collapsing at various altitudes during a high speed landing, so he's right about that. Star Ruiz Bardavio in 2015 jumps to mind as one.
  14. For what reasons? He’s not black, a woman or a Democrat. WINNING!!!
  15. You and the usual cast of characters were totally against being there. Now all of a sudden you have a problem with leaving. It’s called accepting responsibility for our actions. Maybe your guys should try it. We shouldn’t have gone in the first place, but now that we did the responsible thing is to see it through to a successful end, not just run away like a coward and claim victory while hiding behind the bed. We've spent 18 years in Afghanistan. If we haven't accomplished our goal we never will. How long should we spend in Syria before we realize the same thing? I agree. Which is why I was against going in the first place - there was never any victory to be had. If we're leaving because we can't achieve our goals then we should pull out, but in a measured way that doesn't make the situation as bad as it can possibly be for everyone else. But I've not seen that 'We can't do any better' message from the government - have you? If they said that and then presented a measured withdrawal plan I would have a much different response, but right now the US looks like the school bully who just got punched in the nose.

  17. Mission accomplished. ISIS is beaten. We won. RUN AWAY!!!! /Monty Python
  18. Likewise! Hope everyone has a cracking Christmas and gets a little relaxation time!
  19. Time will tell I guess. If they just turn into another shithole country for the next several decades then that’s one thing. If they turn into a hotbed of terrorist training centers I think you’ll regret saying that. And that's all without talking about the inherent WRONGNESS of just ditching people who are supposed to be your allies. 'America First' is becoming indistinguishable from 'fuck everyone else'.
  20. Yup, I'm going to take a trip to Bevmo today to stock up. I'm not sure if you can find it out here, but have a look for Innis & Gunn port wood beer, or their Original. Tastes like christmas to me.
  21. It's also not the brightest idea in the world and we probably shouldn't encourage it. Sure, 5 or 6 years ago when we started we used skydiving wings but there are now so many specialist speedflying wings available, and there are so many people with experience who can loan you one and teach you how to use it that I wouldn't recommend someone just goes up a hill with their skydiving wing. You wouldn't use a skydiving wing for base jumping, would you? Still, that is some particularly sweet soaring in the video. Stuff paragliders are taught to do as a matter of course but is foreign to most skydivers; and I couldn't agree more about the teaching value of kiting ANY wing.
  22. Can't. The in-laws will be here. Three days of being told precisely what we're doing wrong as parents by a couple who hired nannies to look after their own kids... I might go on a rampage. Still, I have a very nice bottle of port in the garage and am going to pick up a huge rib of beef tomorrow which I'll do on the barbie. That'll keep me amused for a couple of hours.
  23. That would be the closure I need. I think you should stand trial for something. No idea what. Let’s say kiddy-fiddling. Sure... That works. There’s absolutely no evidence of it, but we can only be sure if we arrest you and put you through a lengthy public trial, obviously. I’m sure it wouldn’t inconvenience or traumatize you much and you’d understand that this is how I can get closure... Thanks for your understanding.

You're just super comfortable with telling bare faced lies if it feeds your own fantasies, aren't you? It's not 50% and rocks don't vote.
