Saddam was tried by the Iraqi Interim Government for crimes against humanity. Saddam was convicted and sentenced to be hanged. He had an appeal that was denied. Sentence was carried out on Dec. 30, 2006. Let's just say that the Iraqi Interim Government and the Iraqi Special Tribunal had enough reasons of their own to have him executed, without undue influence from US govt or any other Coalition govt. I believe my post was original thinking on my part. I did read the thread; Al Gore and the UN Awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. That started me thinking about Gore's career. What really amazed me was now perfectly positioned he is regarding the outcome. That impresses me even more than how much he has and will exploit the market he has positioned himself in. Remarkable.
