Every time I go to wash my car, it ends up getting washed like that sooner than I would like. All that acid rain really erodes a paint job Sometimes that's all it needs though, esp. when jumpin calls

I just got finished slaving over washing my new car. It's a pain since its a cconvertible and you can't just take it to the gas station car wash or one of those nifty drive throughs. The soap in those is too concentrated and will ruin the waterproofing on the fabric top (note to convertible drivers). I just wanted to know who washes their car the old fashioned way? I have always done this because I used to show cars and had to detail them to perfection. Wondering if there are other purists or anal retentive people like myself when it comes to cleaning cars. I have a feeling in this fast paced society, most don't take the time to scrub their baby themselves. If you do the dirty deed by hand, try the new Mr. Clean Auto Wash thing.
