  1. Nice videos Bowen. I added them to the You Tube indoor skydiving group I started, hope you don't mind. Please add any other footage you've got. For those lazy like me http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=paraevolution Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com
  2. Search the wind tunnel forum for the info you want. There are tons of posts out there on it with lots of great info. You'll have a blast. The people are first class, instructors are amazing flyers and coaches, and the owner is top notch.
  3. Opening soon per se owner. 10 ft. tunnel. One piece of glass for the main chamber. Should be a pretty sweet sight! Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com
  4. I second all that. A BIG CHEERS!!!!!! CHEERS!!!!!! CHEERS!!!!!! I'm so excited for you all. You have worked tirelessly and deserve every bit of success you've earned and will earn!
  5. It's a great idea if your allergies are really bad. You can learn to manage them better and find medicine that works best for you. If you have insurance the test isn't too $$$. Every test and shot has been worth every single $ I spent! I can breathe, I'm not a snot ball, it's wonderful
  6. Curly fries, curly fries! Whoooooo! I love Arby's too but it's the stomach, hips, and thighs that object Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com
  7. I can understand that, and I wouldn't argue it, b/c I genuinely believe "To each their own." For me, obviously, I'd be inclined not to understand why taking a pill a day is such a big deal. Shots are also an option. They have improved ALL my allergies so much. I went to the doctor and was tested, he gasped at how red my back got. I'm severly allergic to everything but food, cockroaches, and mold. Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com
  8. I wish you all the luck in the world with your venture. I've never done 'jumps in a day' but I have tons of fundraising experience and get paid to do it (not my tunnel events however- my 'real' job is an event planner/fundraiser for not for profits). Please let me know if there is any way that I could be of assistance from FL. It's so great to have these forums so we can all learn and share from the fundraising efforts of others. Unfortunately, in the fundraising industry, that information is usually offered up only after a big check has been passed This is one reason I think it's great to have a small community where people look out for the greater good and one another. Best of luck!
  9. I was severly allergic to cats until I got one and now recently another. My only adivce, Claritin (or antihistime) and a Mucinex (or decongestant). I am generally miserable for the first 3 days around a new cat (I'm used to mine) and feel like hell but after that it clears up. I have to be vigilant about washing my hands after petting them. 10. Maybe I did maybe I didn't. The tunnel is a simulator designed to make you comfortable with one step of the skydiving process. I understand canopy training and things like that are important, but so is controling your body in freefall so you are able to deploy stable. Tunnel time helps you get comfortable with less fear. if you are afraid and unstable, the sky might not be the best place for you at the moment. Hop in the tunnel, straighten things out, and then get back to it with far more confidence. Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com
  11. I don't consider my 120 hours a waste because I haven't jumped in a year. It's all about what you are into. I don't think having fun at the tunnel and learning new skills would be a bad thing, even if you never get out of the plane. I've yet to meet a whuffo tourisits who considered their tunnel time moot because they don't jump. For many people, skydiving is not as exciting as tunnel flying. It's a sport of it's own and most skydivers are really humbled and/or pissed by their tunnel experiences because they realize that they sky is very forgiving and you don't have to create lift to fly. 12. Tunnel will help no matter what stage of the game you are in. All world class teams train in the tunnel. Coincidence? Doubt it If it helps them, it will help you at least get familiar with the air and flying your body, no doubt about that. Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com

  14. Jeckyl and Hydes is awesome (in the city). Nothing fancy but a great theme place. Crawling with actors/waiters, wierd things to look at, and great drinks!!!! Needtojump and I had a great time there! Fun meal, good food (not great but better than 99% of other theme rest.), and an excellent atmosphere. Suitable for kids also, it's creepy but not scary. New Tunnels

The portable was very choppy but there was fast air, no sweet spot, and a built in turn from the prop. I LOVED flying the portable, it was super fun to be flying and having canopies landing right next to me! I've done 2 way freeflying in an 8 foot portable tunnel and it was great. Def. not the SkyVenture or Bedford (from what I hear) environment. Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com
  18. That's fantastic Bob! What a great story. I have also cut out the memorial page and hung it with pride in my apartment. Simply beautiful. I hope you are doing well and know that an Orlando rat thinks of you both often Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com
  19. You can make so much more money elsewhere in the country. The investors I had didn't care if they made a dime (loosing $6 mill to them is nothing) and they still didn't want to buy into the Ohio market. Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com
  20. I'd love to see AAC done 100% before investing or telling investors to buy into Alpha Mechanical. I loved my AAC expereince but would want to know what the product can REALLY do when running at top speed, full capacity, price of parts, how long it will take to complete, etc. They have had a very long time to complete that tunnel and it's very sad still today it's not 100% I wanna fly that thing topped out so bad! Okay back to the topic- I have a few investors who were wanting to open up a tunnel in Ohio, but there are far better locations from the market research that was acquired. I tried so hard to get them to build a tunnel before and after moving to FL, they just don't want the risk that is involved with building Ohio, i.e. not that many tourists esp. in the winter months. Tourist play a huge roll in a tunnels success, look at Vegas, Orlando, Pigeon Forge, Colorado, for example. Instead of building a tunnel where you live, it's best to say (for any business), "Where is going to be the most successful/profitable location?" Find it, then build it! 21. In hopes that in crashes near some girls who just started a cat fight?!?!?! That would be a sight if physics didn't apply and everyone was safe after the balloon bust. Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com
