I swear its been Ohio in DeLand for the past few weeks I hate this crap weather. Hopefully, all the rain will keep the hurricanes at bay. The sun has been creeping out more and more as of late, thank goodness
  3. Thanks Jamie BTW Jamie and Liz were AWESOME in the tunnel!!!!!! They both improved their flying in less than 24 hours. They kicked ass and took names Well Jamie, I was simply returning the hospitality you showed me at SGC. Had you not jumped with me, I was doomed to solo's unless I traveled to another dz. I always thought it was great that you gave back so willingly and wanted no compensation. I admired that and it has inspired me to reach some of the goals I have. I really appreciated you reaching out to help me. Now that I am able to give back, I'm glad you came down and had that experience.
  4. For sure but that's already been stated . I just wanted his take on things since he has experience with a tunnel I've never flown. It's always been a place I've wanted to fly but I'm not military. I know so little about it, I was just wondering of other dangers. Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com

  8. Like Ben Stein, I bow to your superior nature Good call Chuck. I was meaning that they haven't been reached safely in a tunnel environment (I can't imagine corking in there), for the majority of us to fly and use. Sorry, its been a long few weeks here on my end. I totally spaced on Bragg stuff. I guess I don't think there is a point in having the speed if you can't use it safely (speaking on civilian use). I can see where in military application it is great, but for civilians I don't know how practical and safe it would be. Do you have a take on this? Would an increase in speed even be worth it in the Bragg or SV environment? I know you stated the corking, any other issues that might not be so obvious? It seems that it would add a lot of danger factors into a small area/equation. Sorry for all the ?'s I'm just interested to hear your take since you have exp. with the Bragg tunnel. I'm so jealous
  9. Ha, ha, ha, good for him! I hate getting hosed I had to say something, he is sending me a BadFish shirt
  10. Fucking assholes. Just bash them on here, it will make you feel better at the very least. Well, I'll try to round up some pics and burn them onto a disk for you if you needs pics or anything like that back. I know its not much but if there is any info I have that you need, just ask. I'll ship it off to you. I'm sorry babe Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com
  11. I can only speak of my tunnel suit and experience, and what ZP does for that. I don't think it will be totally off topic however, I may have something to add. My tunnel suit is ZP for less baggyness (if that's even a word) and more lift. I love the fact that I don't have a suit smacking me in the face (SV tunnel suits/Tony Suits hurt sit flying!), plus the Ouragan suit makes my butt look great The ups: added lift (which is why my WHOLE tunnel suit is made from ZP). The downs: added lift (for someone my size in the sky that would not be a great thing). Nice post, sorry I only have tunnel input to offer but it is first hand info. on flying a ZP suit. Hope it helps a little. Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com

  14. Not for long.................. It would be pretty cool if you could do it and have it flyable by more than just a select few. Would the windspeeds benefit anyone aside from freeflyers though? Unfortunately, the 4-way teams are paying the big bucks and returning more frequently. I know there are also FF teams out there spending tons of time at the tunnel too, just not in the same numbers. I believe there are simply more 4-way teams creating a larger demand. The increase in operating costs doesn't seem like it would be a good trade off if the FFers aren't the one driving the majority of the demand. I wish we could drive that kind of demand though, one day maybe. Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com
  15. U know my answer We NEVER have weather holds
  16. It sucks when you have 8 jumps and you see your instructor for maybe 4 seconds before they are thousands of feet below you, then poof gone. Hey I had fun though, I made it out alright, if there was every any doubt I would have pulled. It was a great experience I could have done without however. 18. Obviously I'm in the minority and training to be a better tunnel rat. I would REALLY consider it, 'having FUN and becoming a better bodyflyer.' I have to disagree. Everything that I do in the tunnel translates quite well into freefall and is a way for me to get better in freefall quicker. I'm with you here. I think that it depends on dicipline to some degree, among other things. Freeflying can be a very different ball game with slower wind speeds. Bellyflying wind speeds can be reached in most, if not all of the tunnels (even in portables you can belly fly, but how well that would translate to skydiving I cannot say since i have never flown one), but freefly sky speeds cannot be reached in any tunnel- SkyVenture comes close but is still a far cry from freefall. This may be why the translation for FF tunnel to FF sky, isn't as smooth as with the belly. I found it to be a little work to fly fast in the sky after flying 15 hours at SkyVenture (and we've got windspeeds closer to actual freefall than most tunnels- the windspeeds being such that a majority of the FreeFlyers can use it and it doesn't take a ton of time to work up to the 135mph). I don't have many jumps but each one was progressively getting faster and my skills for everything else translated VERY well. Slower wind speeds than SkyVenture would have made the transition tougher for me- just my opinion and my experiences. Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com
  19. I don't know either but I would assume when you are wearing a bathing suit that you know you would be looked at and in public. When in undies they may not be expecting it, get upset, or shocked. I don't get that either. I know I wear thong undies but not swimsuit, that may have to do with it also. I really have no idea why some of us are so crazy
  20. Damn girl, I still haven't seen good X-rays of my accident but that looks painful. I hope you recover soon. Hey, the tunnel is great rehab
  21. Well, I had my hair dresser notice I lost some weight! I haven't seen her since I started this. My clothes are fitting better and I'm feeling healthier
