No good I'm lighting my good luck candle and hoping for the best for all involved. I remember going through all of that last year but it was no where close to what Katrina has turned out to be. We just got one after the other causing flooding but nothing like this. I'm praying and hoping for all of those involved. Great news about TAMMY!

TFTC will incorporate varying skill levels of female flyers to improve females freefly formation skills, hybrid & freefly tunnel experience, while having fun with other flyers and keeping safety in mind. Our goal is to make this an incredible event for all who donate their time and money. 15 slots are available for girls with basic freefly tunnel skills. All TFTC participants will receive a goodie bag filled with lots of great items from the manufactures and other sponsors, value aprox. $150. Event flight times are 10-11am, 12-1pm, 1:30-2:30pm. Participants are asked to arrive no later than 9am. 8:45am is preferable. Group Fundraising Goals Each participant is required to raise at least $150. JFTC participants are not required to do any fundraising to participate in TFTC. Here are just a few ways to raise money: raffle tickets are available for $5 each, lump sum donations, individual fundraisers, and SVO's donation to JFTC in each girls name. I'm sorry you don't think competition is fun. Competition is fun but that's not the only thing that should drive you. Side note: I'm training to compete right now so obviously I think its fun. I can't imagine someone would amass the tunnel time I have (in the small time frame 30+hrs ~1 yr.) if they did not want to compete, be challenged, and driven on some level. I'd say the 14' probably helps the tall ones out, more so than no turbulence I look like a midget in Orlando I can't wait to see the video if me in the Eloy tunnel, oh that will be a hoot! Next time you're in FL, look me up and come play

I'm sorry its a competition, it should be fun. My tip would be to spend lots of time in the tunnel esp. if you are driven. It will only take time and money really. If you have the 2 they will get you flying. There is a whole post about skydiving and tunnel flying. Check out all the resources that are already out there and written on this site. You may be seriously under estimating how much time it is going to take you to get your sit down. I had 130 something minutes in the tunnel before I was flying off the net more than not (I'm slow), I didn't have may skydives either, more than 9 but less than 50.
