Hey there stranger! Glad all is going well for you in the military. Carrie and I were just talking about making it to the Perris tunnel for a day flight during our Vegas trip. That's a small part of why I like the Orlando staff so much; not that they don't take tips (they deserve them) but the principle behind it. They are always willing to help if you ask, even if they aren't having the best day. They go out of their way esp. if they are having a good time too, and I know they all love to see the little ones do well! I'm so glad to hear you and your daughter had a kick ass flight. I flew it Monday night and it was amazing. Light weight and I wore it for a half hour straight, took an hour and a half off, then flew it for 30 more mins. No sore neck the next day. Easy access to the camera to turn it on and off. Camera goes in and out real easy (not on Ari's though, the camera doens't even fit ) and stayed in place nicely when flying (no black around the edges of the video). It was a dream! They haven't always been able to accept tips. This is a (relatively) recent change that was brought on by an employee who showed a little gumption, wrote a nice letter to mgmt. on why they should be able to accept tips, and they now can

The instructor may also brief you on the ground about back flying and the freefly progression, they will also answer any questions you have. Plan on spending time on your back, back flying is fun and 1 of 2 bail positions (back and belly) when learning to sit fly (safety first ). The instructors control the wind speeds so the flyer doesn't have to worry about that. Flying & learning new things is tough enough. When they see you flying and stable,you'll get more juice. I wish I was going to be in town to induct all the females coming to fly. I'll be in NY. Let me tell you work is ruined for the day That video was a treat! I've been saving some money and paid for the Vegas trip so flying won't be happening as often for a while. That always gets me super amped to fly since its way more fun flying than training. That video just looked like good times with good people, how can you not want that? Very excited while watching, makes me want to get out and fly. Actually it makes me very glad I have tunnel time tonight or else I'd be calling them right now I would for sure check out the website after that commercial! I think that will generate a lot of interest from families and kids bugging their parents. Very entertaining. Great grapihcs, video clips, flying, and photos. FANTASTIC VIDEO!!!!!!! It was a blue sky day w. a few puffy clouds when we went up but some how it was raining (not pouring but solid drizzle) 10 min. after I landed hard (still minimal clouds however). Winds weren't gusting hard at all, I watched a few loads to get a feel for what things were like. General conclusion was something funky moved in when we were on our way up. You know how the weather can be in FL w. the afternoon showers- it was the early afternoon 11am when I jumped. I was landing in the student area because of my low jump numbers. Hope this helps. Consensus seemed to be if I was on a smaller canopy it would not have collapsed in like conditions. I have virtually no experience flying a canopy compared to the people I spoke with so I always bow to the experts when I have questions or concerns. No one saw the incident so other than what happened to me during , I couldn't say. I wish I knew more or that 100 people saw it instead of 0. I keep thinking I had to have messed up. I appreciate insight or comments if you have any. *I hope this does not come off wrong because I am not trying to be nasty, close minded, or anything like that. They finished up a while ago. I forget how many in a day but I know the instructors were worked to the bone but very glad to see them at the end of their progression. It was cool to see them wandering around the dz at first like deer in headlights. By the end they were all yelling together in the plane and becoming a team so to speak.
