    No baths, swimming, or direct contact from water until it heals which is usually 2 weeks. Same thing for the touch up of the hand/cloud. You want everything to be healed up nicely when you go to have it drilled again. Trust me, you want to wait till it heals. I saw someone who lied to the artist and was in emense pain. As soon as the artist figured out what was going on, he kicked him out of the store and asked him never to return. It makes it hard on the artist as well as you.     Soft asylum is found on the pillows at night and the comfort in knowing you made the right decision hospital pillows don't have the same squish factor as the old rusty trusty ones at home (and you only get 1). Keep yourself safe by making the right decision for you and flare on time, that should make things soft enough for ya Hell girl, I'll support any decision you make if it keeps you in one piece!     If they are metal or acryllic balls, be careful screwing them on too tight. This can be a problem too, you ruin the thread of the screw/ball and it doesn't close or screw on completely.     Been there, its a pain. If you buy a replacement, make sure it is from the same company. It may seem like it fits, but you may loose it again. If you are unsure of the maker of your jewerly, just get a new barbell. It will be close to the same price as the new ball depending on the gauge in your mouth. HOpe this helps.
