    There are still rooms available at the Oasis. Remember, if you don't reserve before October 8th, you don't get a discounted room. (800-21-OASIS) Working on the chinese dinner menu for saturday right now.

    Anybody here performed a wedding ceremony(Not just been married). Doing my first one on Saturday and looking for suggestions. I've never even been on the receiving end of the old matrimony speech.

    Here we go everybody. Skydive Mesquite's "New Year" starts October 15th. That's when the caravan gets here! So we're starting off the year with the New Year Boogie, Oct 15, 16, & 17. $20.00 registration fee gets you 15.00 jumps, beverages Friday and Saturday (after jumping), and I'm working on catering a dinner Saturday night (no promises but I'm trying). If you don't like registation fees, don't pay it. Normal jump prices are going to be $19.00 to 13000 this year. Get out here and let's make this a year for fun jumpers! It seems that anyone who wants to do great skydives is getting left behind more and more in the name of making money. THE HELL WITH THAT! I WANT TO SKYDIVE!

    There used to be a small drop zone at the small airport right next to Kaiserslauten. This was 12 years ago and I'm not sure if it still exists.

    Anyone in the vegas area next weekend come on by. We're going to have a couple of cessnas and do some formation loads, night jumps, and bar-b-quing.(thanks to JT) If you haven't tried any swooping from a secoond plane, this would be a good opportunity.(not often a formation load is only an eight or nine way) Ten bucks gets you food and drink.

    We finally got it organized! Our last boogie before it gets too hot will be on April 23,24,25. We'll have the Beech 99 from Lodi and a six person helicopter! The 99 has a door much like an Otter holds 18 people and flies as fast as most king airs! The helicopter is...well... IT"S A HELICOPTER! If you haven't made a heli jump yet, get out here. We'll have beverages Friday and Saturday night and pizza on Saturday night as well as a drawing for prizes Saturday night. Boogie fee $15.00, Jumps $18.00 out of the 99, Jumps out of the helicopter depend on altitude. April showers are for everybody else......IT"S SUMMER IN MESQUITE!

    The $20.00 boogie fee gets you $15.00 jumps plus a game of bingo at the Casino on Saturday night. If nothing else it's really good for a laugh and last year one of the people with us won $1200.00 Come on out everybody!

    I wish I had heard something about this. There is oxygen available on the plane for anybody who needs it but you didn't say you felt bad before jumping. The airport is actually at 1975 MSL, not that the 600 foot difference would change much. I know you said you were on jump run longer than usual but I don't think the forum realizes that means a minute or so not several. All of our turn arounds on Saturday were under 20 minutes so that is less than 15 to jump run. Jumps were all to 13000 (which means you probably were really at 13500 AGL) Call me if you here anything from the doc. I would bet you had a head cold or something. You haven't had problems on any of your other times down here have you? Call me if you want to talk about it. Quitting smoking is never a bad idea.(I hate sweeping up butts)

    Our biggest boogie of the year! 15.00 boogie fee gets you 15.00 jumps. Caravan will be flying all day Friday, Satyrday, and Sunday(Jan 9,10,11). Come on out!
