Is there anyway to get your site up (preferably high) on the search engines with out paying the outrageous fees everyone seems to want? Right now it does not show up at all Flying Hellfish #31 "I'm not allowed to talk about it till after the trial" www.SkydiveTecumseh.com

That does make harder to handle, it really shows us that it can happen to any of us. When you can't answer the questions of why or what happened it is hard to process. Even after over a year I still find myself trying to figure out why and what happened, but there is only one person that knows that answer. Someday I'll ask him, then hit him for leaving us too soon. Be safe everyone, we may have not met yet, but you are all my friends. I don't want to lose anymore Flying Hellfish #31 "I'm not allowed to talk about it till after the trial" www.SkydiveTecumseh.com

It is very hard to get back in the air after losing a friend. It is just a matter of taking the time to sort out those feelings and coming to terms with how you really feel about the sport after that, it does change things. Keep in mind that they died doing something they loved and probably would not want you to quit over it, just like you wouldn't want any of your friends to quit if it was you. Look at what happened and learn from it, I feel that is what you should do with every tragedy in this sport. Be confident in yourself that you can handle any situation that comes up in the best way possible, and learn all your options. I personally am not one to advise someone to "get right back up there" if you are not ready, don't force it. Take your time and adjust, you do not need to impair yourself by being in the air while too emotional. It took me a couple months of soul searching to get back in the air, and I am glad I took that time to evaluate and reflect. I would stick to not performing a cut away below 1000 feet under any circumstances (if not higher). At that point just try to get as much fabric over your head as possible. Too many things can go wrong and you will have very little time to deal with it. If the reserve comes out clean you can do a canopy transfer, but I would rather have two balls of shit over my head than nothing. Because we are all immigrants or decendants of immigrants here, except for native americans, so we interpret that question to mean what is your ancestry. Flying Hellfish #31 "I'm not allowed to talk about it till after the trial" www.SkydiveTecumseh.com

It's all about the trim of the canopy. Some are set up with very strong front riser pressure and basically you can do a pull up on it and not effect the canopy much. I have never jumped a sabre, but it is not a parachute designed for high speed landings so there is probably not much response from the fronts. [replyI watched Mike try to put a sombrero on that bird for 20 minutes and watching the bird drop it on the ground. Between the 4 guys and the bird, I know who was winning. "There..." (toss) "click" "dammit" "Ok..." (toss) "click" "dammit, almost got it." ... That's one of Zeke's favorite games out at the DZ, how many times can I make the dumb human pick up and hand me something I keep throwing on the ground before they figure it out Flying Hellfish #31 "I'm not allowed to talk about it till after the trial" www.SkydiveTecumseh.com

Wouldn't you be too if one of the first ones you were exposed to wrapped you in a towel and probed your rear with a Q-tip? My two cents: Is a DZ a place for children to hang out at all day? I think not, and they definately do not belong there after sunset. There is one thing that I noticed that no one has taken into account. Most DZ's are a place of business, and some customers bring their kids not knowing what our culture is really like. It is unprofessional and IMHO rude to swear or do some things in front of customers and especially kids, if they belong there or not. I'm just as guilty as most of slipping around kids. Remember though, it is a business and the customers are what keep us in the air. At a boogie that is not running a business (Rantoul) or once the beer light is on, if one of those little fuckers are around I'm not holding back anymore. That was someone that knows better who made a bad decision to have them there at that time. Flying Hellfish #31 "I'm not allowed to talk about it till after the trial" www.SkydiveTecumseh.com

Has anyone else had these symptoms, and if so what was it? I got caught in a rotor a few years ago and jammed both my knees. I hobbled around for a few weeks and both knees hurt until after I went snow skiing. Every once in a while (once or twice a year) the pain comes back in my left knee and lasts for a few weeks. My knee hurts from just above the knee cap to just below it, usually when I have it bent for a while (mainly while driving) Once I get up and walk around for a bit it feels better. I know I have to go and have a doctor look at it, just have a bit of the "if I don't know what's wrong it will be ok" thing going on. Plus I'm not going to have anything done till after the season is over, unless I absolutely have to. Any ideas of what I may be in for? I just got a new laptop yesterday and was playing with it at work and was able to pick up a unprotected access point (no WEP setup) and get on the net through it. What I was wondering is if there is any possible problems with doing this? Flying Hellfish #31 "I'm not allowed to talk about it till after the trial" www.SkydiveTecumseh.com
