Out of curiousity, as I just plcaed my order for a Firebird R a little over a week ago and am more than a little aware that it won't be even remotely ready this soon, how long can I expect to be eagerly checking both the tracking site and my order status on the Bird-Man site, messing myself at even the simplest of change to the status, before my suit will arrive here in the States? Good point on the discount prizes. Something concrete is generally more preferred than a piece of paper saying you'll pay less for something that not only wasn't on your "buy now" list, but that might be out of your current price range even WITH a discount. Oh no...I've lost her for good. As for the project, I know there are some fairly critical fans of the books who are DIRECTLY involved in this movie, so hopefully they'll be able to tell the tale in film format without sacrificing too much. I think word of Dwayne Johnson being lead was about a year ago, so I'm hoping clearer heads have prevailed since then. And yes, the Tharks are bipedal creatures with four arms. I was cutting corners last night due to alcohol. This was a story about a civil war vet whose spirit gets transported to Mars and finds himself, initially captured by the Tharks, six-legged Martian barbarians who are fairly brutal. I recommend the series, starting with "A Princess Of Mars".
