    Fiscally conservative sucks too. Instead of driving a brand new big RV or sports car from my huge house at the beach to a DZ and jumping all new gear. I either drive my old '96 RV van or my '97 car (both with over 100K) from my modest house in BFE NC and jump either the 7 year old rig or the 16 year old one.     Would you prefer if the FDA stopped approving pharmaceuticals and allow corporations to market anything they like? I'm not sure exactly how it would work to legalize drugs. There would still need to be some regulations (as with the alcohol and tobacco industries). I would think that the FDA's part would be to provide facts (including warnings) about the drug, so that people can make informed decisions about using. And also, the FDA should be ensuring that what the corporations are marketing is actually what they say it is. I do agree but right now I'm envisioning a legal argument over a strain of bud that claims "it'll get ya mega fucked up" and the parameters they use to confirm/deny.     This sort of attitude is why healthcare, air travel, and many other things are so expensive. If the cost to fix a plane is more than a replacement, it doesn't really make sense to repair it, does it? More perversion of the system in the name of "safety."     Isn't capitalism more about competition, not one company follwing the other? WHat you refer to as one company follwoing the other sounds more like Socialism. Capitalism is all about competition: for products, for innovation, for labor, etc. When one company gains an edge, the other companies tend to follow suit. In their competition with each other to be "the best" they raise the bar for all. This is all market driven, as opposed to socialism which is gov't driven.

    What I was suggesting with the 100% thing is that, when it comes to sexuality, unless you directly witness it or a direct participant confides in you, all information is essentially gossip of very questionable reliability. It is a very private area of life and information that is being discussed publicly in this area of life should be treated with great skepticism. Hang around most DZ's for just a weekend and you'll not only learn who's banging whom, but also who they used ta too. Hell you might even get some "direct evidence" too.
