I agree with you 100% It is also the Navy's basic parachutist. Even as a Navy Parachute Rigger I would not be cought dead wearing that ring. Yes I have and read the 3 books on the Lord of the Rings. Plus the Hobbit. That is why I said the movie is true to the book. It was almost like the picture I had in my head when I READ them.
