yes, they sound different and certainly they are much better. Bands from Scandinavia makes the best metal music IMO. Here are some of my favorite bands arch enemy, dimmu borgir, nightwish, within temptations, inflames, dark tranquility and children of bodom. they are all from sweden, norway and finland but they sing in english so you wouldnt have any trouble understand them. except for dimmu borgir, some of their older albums are in norwegian for example 'stormblast' and i think their latest album which would be released next month ' death cult armaggeddon' has 2 songs written in norwegain.

i know a few norwegian bands, but they play black metal..... Dimmu Borgir, Limbonic Art, Emperor, Old Man's child....if you like Swedish bands...i know heaps more.

i think you're right. i'm not going to be bothered by them laughing at me. i'm going to continue listening to delta goodrem and not give a shit about them. and the problem with them is that they think they're so tough but yet they complain when i turn the volume up when i'm playing metal. ( P.S i listen to almost anything, rock, pop, metal, country....EXCEPT RAP) I think they're just acting tough.

erm...i listen to old school rock and metal as well. for example, inflames, dark tranquility, soilwork, beseech, korn, silverchair, lash, pantera, morbid angel, slayer, nine inch nails, nightwish, amon amarth.....etc etc etc. i listen to almost anything except rap because if you add C to RAP you get CRAP

Delta Goodrem is a female singer from Australia who sings erm...love songs . She has excellent songs like ' innocent eyes' , 'lost without you' and ' born to fly' And yea I know anything I listen is fine. I'm just tired of my mates laughing at me thinking they're all tough when they're not.

I need some opinions from the males and females here. Help. Ok. I bought a Delta Goodrem cd and my mates knew about it and they laughed at me. I think they are trying to say I'm a wuss or whatever and they think only females listen to Delta Goodrem's muisc. They think they're all cool and shit. But on the other hand, I listen to heavy metal, death metal, grind metal, thrash metal and black metal. They dont! They always complain that the music I'm playing was too agressive and if I could lower it down. HAHA! NOW WHO"S THE MAN!!?? I don't think there is anything wrong for a male to listen to Delta Goodrem's music. So here's the question. What do you think of a male who listens to Delta Goodrem ? Do you think it's fine or simply a wuss?
