About Me
Hello out there. A little bit about me (I always dread this part, but here it is): I've wanted to get into the sport more regularly and start working toward getting my A license. I've been through ground school, but when it comes to jumping solo, I chicken out because I'm unable to catch my breath during freefall. I don't know if it's how my head is positioned while tandem or what, but I'm worried I'll pass out and not be able to fly the canopy into the DZ. Just dropping in anywhere doesn't sound too appealing.
I need to get over this fear and maybe figure out a way to breathe, which is why I'm here. I'm looking for encouragement and maybe to hear from others who had the same issue and how you overcame it. I love the sport. The freedom we have is indescribable (as you all know), and it's so addicting. Plus, the camaraderie is something I need right now, as I've experienced numerous losses in my life recently.
