That's admirable...it isn't wrong. In fact, it's more right than most will admit. The only thing I see as wrong is the stalking part..if ya have to stalk a love, it isn't love. Me, on the other hand, would offer a one-on-one love like no other, given freely and with no reservation. "My all to the one that accepts my heart, for she takes what I long to give the most...My love." TripleF

Hmmmm...I guess you don't need that carriage ride now, huh? FFF

mnischalke, It retails for about $6,000 straight from Germany but I got a discount through the police dept here so I didn't pay near that much. I guess it was worth it cause I hit a quart of oil at over 150 feet this morning. For me, that's a pretty good shot (or maybe lucky). FFF

Thanks for the link. I don't wanna abuse anyone's copyrighted pic. I just wanted a sky kiss pic for my desktop and that link provided one. I'm not sure if that would be considered theft or not, so I've written a short letter asking Mr. Larrett if I can use it for my desktop. Again, jt, thanks for the link. FFF

Anyone have this pic stored somewhere? I have wanted it for a long time for my desktop and I've tried to photoshop it so it's larger but haven't had any success. Any help would be appreciated...(yeah, I know...I'm puter illiterate.) FFF

Whew, I'm glad that's settled...I was wondering where they got the babies to make the ink... FFF

Dude, Nice mill..in fact, with the exception of the paint under the hood, it looks just like mine, right down to the K&N breather, lol..need that to get the thing to breath, lol. Thanks for posting the pic's. If no one but me appreciates them, believe me, they are appreciated. The Polar Bear (my 49 Chevy/Merlin powered Ford) is also a 9 second street machine that I drive daily, freaking out the cops here, but they finally got used to it, lol. FFF

Man, you gotta get a scanner...lol. Hey, somebody find a scanner for this man. I truly wanna see the pic's of that Duster. There just ain't nothing like a Pro-Street machine. Do you drive it on the street? Mine's a daily drive and I love it. Tell your daughter to be safe but have fun and congrats on the 6th spot. FFF

Ever run that Dudster? Pic's, ya know...lol. Mine's a 1949 Pro-Street Ford Custom. It's somewhere in the Galleries, if ya punch in "Polar Bear" under search. Not exactly a 60's or 70's muscle car but it is truly a one of a kind, only kind like it in the entire world, monster. Not only a quick rod, it's a show winner. FFF

Jt, You are doing the right thing. Understand, it's pretty much normal for a person to fall back into old behaviors so don't take it personal if he "slips". When the time is right, in his own time, it's gonna work out the way it's supposed to. It may not be the way we want it to work out, but it'll work out the way it's supposed to. I know from personal experience cause I had to try over and over again (from about '76 to '80 before I finally got serious). When that happened, I found that I could do and be what I wanted to do/be. So, hang in there, do what you can, don't expect miracles over night and show respect for what he's going through. He'll be ok. FFF P.S. Thanks for caring about the dude. (And not being the foggy old asshole that you can be, lol.)

Quade, One thing I didn't see mentioned was that Sen. Thurmond was for a long while, the Chairperson for the Armed Services Committee. Being a disabled Veteran from South Carolina, myself, I can say from experience, this man took care of "his boys" extremely well and always had time to speak with a veteran. I know, cause he helped me out on numorous occasions when the VA tried to cut me back from 100% to 80% cause I skydive. Strom Thurmond was truly an inspiration to me as he gave his best for us. I have nothing but respect for the man. Thanks for letting me rave on. FFF

Jt, I didn't understand one little thing. Please help me with this. Are you an AF/AA counselor? Not that it matters, but one thing to remember...don't let it get personal. So far, from what you've posted, you are doing the right thing. Just offer what support you can, be there for him and let him do what is right for him. A person can and will only get sober if he/she WANTS to. FFF (Sobriety date - March 20, 1980)
