Hey man, happy to hear from you. I did the last chemo the 2nd week in December, got the results on the 22nd. No trace left of the cancer, thank God. (Does Snoopy Happy Dance around room.) The Bear is running at top form, too. He got me a ticket (73 mph in a 55 mph) at $180.00 and 4 points, lol. Damn car....Hey, wanna' buy a Polar Bear (before I lose my license)??? Well, Dudes and Dudettes...while I was sick (6 months of cancer treatments) i was unable to rebuild the Polar Bear. I totaled it out at the end of the drag strip (brakes failed to stop me and the drag chute didn't deploy) before I got sick. I had started on it but was unable to complete the job. Some friends took it upon themselves to rebuild it as a get well present without me knowing about it. I was too sick to go to the garage where I store it so I had no idea this was going on. I'm so ferking proud of my friends, both here and in the gearhead world, that I'm gonna share the pic's. Ya'll gotta look up the old pic's in the archives to understand the transformation, lol. Ok, Ya'll. The whole gang is doing it again. I'm sitting here, reading all this and getting all emotional. Maybe the med's haven't worked out of me yet and it's still affecting me, lol, but bottom line is this - I can't remember a time in my life that I've felt so cared for by so many people. I've been doing my Snoopy dance ever since I got the good news and it's hard to sit down and type, lol, but I want each and every one of ya'll to know that all the prayers and vibes WORKED cause I couldn't have beat this without everyone here. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to each and every person. I just can't say thanks enough for all the support from all the people who carried me when I couldn't carry myself. God Bless You All. Thanks for the welcome back, Mike. I got a little too weak to jump on here for a while but as of last Monday, I'm now cancer free. I gotta be rechecked in 6 months,tho. Other than that and a tremendous weight loss and no strength, I'm fine, lol. How has everyone been? Getting lots of jumps in? Thanks Jan. I'm sorry I don't get on here as often as I used to. I'm a little bit too weak and now sport a Mr. Clean look, thanks to the chemo. I've lost a little more weight, too, but that's to be expected, I guess. I'm still hanging in there, tho, and thanks for all the well wishes. VSG, It wasn't meant as an attack on Chris. My sole motive was/is to let people know that there is no honor in suicide. I've stood in those shoes and had every emotion possible for a human to have, pass through my brain. Go back and read the first 27 posts. 10 of those condon the death of his father as being honorable. One even spoke of how the medical community stripped the wealth of patients. That sounded like way too much greed for me to let pass. Is it greedy to want to live enough to spend what you have worked for? Or should it be best if you just "do it" and leave the money for heirs? WTF?? Stand in someone else's shoes, fight for your life, and tell me that wasn't offensive. I don't want your vibes. You can do what you want with your sympathy. Direct it somewhere else but don't think for one second that it will be missed. Maybe some day you'll have "The Big C" and someone will offend you by implying that fighting for your life is selfish.
