  1. The new suit looks awesome on you Kitty!! Can't wait to see it in person
  2. I've heard stories from AFF instructors about out of control students on the higher levels and having to really suck it down to try to help that person. Having an AAD in your rig in that situation might be something to consider since the student has all your attention and you might lose altitude awareness. I have AADs in both my rigs, it's expensive but I figure if I EVER need one.. they're both paid for. Take care!
  3. It's a damn sexy looking canopy if I may comment on this one.. He called me earlier, and his leg is fine.. if he's not using it.. He got lucky, this could have been pretty serious...
  4. um.. to hold on to in case you're too drunk to stand up by yourself.. yeah.. that's it..
  5. Yeah specially if you decide to hang out close to Camp Ballsack... Entertainment there includes: a pole palm trees pink flamingos hammocks He's thinking about picking up a 15ft pool too..
  6. Alana!!! Sorry to hear this girlie.. that really sucks. But I'm sure you'll be all ready to go when the Byron Boogie comes around Get well soon and take care!
  7. :18:0 18 jumps this weekend! A bunch of tandem vids on Saturday, flew camera for a local 4 way team on Sunday and did some FF jumps here and there..
  8. Really? you're not gonna hang around and party at "Casa Ballsack" ? He just told me he bought an 8 person tent, and has a hammock and pink flamingos on order... Iwan
  9. Ha ha.. this is hilarious.. EVERY DAY!!! When you pack for a trip: At least 1 pair per day you're gone.. and then 1 or 2 extra in case you shit your pants.. ha ha Or in case your drunk ass walks into the ocean wearing all your clothes.. whatever, you get the picture..
  10. ..or are you all out skydiving? I just had a friend call me.. "um.. just to let you know.. they're on King Air load 7 or 8.... and I'm leaving work now to go there.. " Biotches.. Don't people have to work anymore?
  11. And you can contact me for the video and stills Ed, I'll throw that in for free as well.
  12. Oh no... not you too I'll protect you Frenchy.. you did ship that whipcream overnight didn't you?
  13. Patrick, I agree with you here.. this is how you can get into the rotation where I jump. You start going out with tandems (after the manager has given you the ok, which is 300 jumps with at least 50 jumps on your camerasuit) and paying for your own slot, show it to the video concession owner and get coaching on what to change. You do this until the concession owner is happy with the video you get and when you're somewhat consistent. Then you can start flying in the rotation.... Practice makes perfect, and you never stop learning. Be safe! Iwan
  14. You are just making too much sense here I'm with you.. some things I wouldnt be able to accept probably..
  15. Hmm.. ok let me clarify what I posted.. I don't really see it as a nice romantic dinner conversation to be hearing about that either, BUT.. if the question was asked.. have you ever..... I'd like it to be answered honestly.. Someone who's bragging about it.. I don't know..
  16. AAAAA so your suggestion is for us to come there instead of the Albatross?
  17. The past is what makes the person who they are today... I have no issues with someones past, as long as they can be honest and open about it..
  18. No, No! Triple Rock and sip on some Monkey Head... mmmm the good stuff!!!!! Can you clarify? monkey head?

    Obey me

With me.. I live fairly close and I could think of a couple of ways you could make up for the emotional damage you did to me
  22. The way my camera is setup (most of the people I know have it that way) is continuous shooting. Most of the time I only take one or two pics at a time, but on exit and canopy opening, I hold the switch down for a couple of seconds to get the sequences.

    Obey me

You were hanging out with the devil again? you... you.... . never mind.. I won't say it in a public forum
  24. Scott, I jumped the 300D for a while, but I just upgraded. I generally set it up for continuous shooting, ISO 100, Tv with shutterspeed 500 or fully manual. I dont know the shooting speed in RAW, but it's SLOW. For most of the stuff I didnt find the buffer to be a problem, only when filming tandems the opening sequence and the exit from the plane I wish it had a couple more shots available in the buffer, cause the overal speed of the camera is just fine. If I were you right now I would not buy the 300D anymore, I know the 350D is 300 bucks more, but the problems (actually more challenges) I outlined above are not there with the 350D.... spend the extra money and you'll be a lot happier ;) Iwan
