Hey everyone. I just found my next editing software. I am going to pick up the newest version of Avid's Xpress DV 3.5. It looks REALLY awesome. 100 realtime effects, sweet ass color correction, and TONS more stuff than you can shake a boom mike at.

Hey man, thanks for the opinion. That is kind of what I was thinking. Seems BlueTooth needs a little tweaking and upgrading.

Hey everyone. I have been looking at some cameras and cannot decide which one to get. Can some of you who have done some work with one or both give me your opinion? I am wondering between the PC101 ($740) and the PC120 ($950). Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Thanks, Sangiro. Looks pretty cool!

Hey Phree...you are right. There are usually some great rapids down there (4/5+). We were supposed to do a double Gorge trip (twice through the hard part in one day), but Laura got hurt while mountain biking the day before. So, we had to cancel the rafting. It didn't matter a whole lot though because the water levels there are really low and they are only running 3/4 rapids. So, I wasn't too bummed. It was a great trip though! http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Hey Viking....our next trip is planned for December. We are wanting to go somewhere from December 26th to January 4th. We're not sure where yet, but it will probably be somewhere warm and hopefully somewhere foreign. Canuck...that is the same bridge. Although there are several pictures in there that say Royal Gorge, so you would be correct.

Hehehe......nice. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

We got up pretty high while we were there. We hiked one day up in the Park. The final altitude was only about 10,100'. However, the day of mountain biking was up on the Continental Divide. We were biking up around 12,000' for awhile and climbed 1200 vertical feet. Not too shabby for a couple of midwesterners.

Hey there everyone! Just thought I would let you know that Laura and I got back tonight from Colorado and had a great time. Everything went good except for a sprained ankle (Laura). You can check all of it out on the website. Just go to the "vacations" and then you'll see it: http://www.jumpinduo.com I hope you like it! Below is one picture from the trip. Thats me in the rental car.

OSU-Lima. She grew up in Toledo. Know anyone named Bidlack from Defiance. Thats something like my Mom's aunt and uncle I think. They have a pretty good size farm outside Defiance. Grow lots of corn and a few head of cattle. They have our family reunion out at there farm every year. I haven't been in quite a while but my Mom and Dad usually go up there. In fact my Mom was just trying to talk me into going up there in August. I think thats around the same time as the WFFC. Hmmm....WFFC......Family reunion.......which will I go to??? I dont know anyone by that name. I dont really know anyone from there anyway. Hmm....WFFC or family reunion. I dont expect to see you in Ohio in August, however, if you are ever planning/thinking of coming up this way, let me know. I can help you out with airport stuff or whatever. I think my Mom went to college in Lima. I have lots of relatives in Ohio. Know where Defiance is? Dude. I live like 45 minutes MAX from Defience. We played them in high school sports and such. Are you ever up this way? Where did your mom go to school? Lima Technical College? OSU-Lima? (both of these are 30 seconds from my house) or did she go somewhere else? If you are ever up here, lemme know!! http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Starting on August 21st, it will be about 44 miles (50 minutes) to work each way: Lima, OH ---> Piqua, OH. I can't wait. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Thanks man. Glad you like it. Did you get that FULL SIZE pic that I sent you? I gotta show that hat off. And, Laura wears her hat ALL THE TIME. Thanks man. They rock! http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Thanks for the info, Phree. Have you used it yet? And if so, let me know how it works for you. I guess I didn't need to specify PCI since ISA sucks major ass and AGP is taken by the video card. Thanks. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Hey there, everyone. I have a question for you: what FireWire DV Capture card do you all recommend? I want something that will be PCI and no more than $200. If you can give me some good leads and your thoughts on the items, that would be most excellent! Thank you very much for your help and please include links. Thanks.

Here is a post I made on the last page. You are in luck, bud. For all those who can't see it: if I know when it will be on the TV, I can record it digitally and then I'll encode it and put it on my website for anyone to watch it they want. And, I'm sure HH would put it on this site as well. And, PilotDave will surely have it on his site http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Congratulations, Michele! That is really great that you have this opportunity. Have a great time and be safe!

I would really like to do that in the future, I think. I would really like to purchase a used rig with a large F111 7cell for it up the road. We'll see. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Perhaps if that bird broatcast its position in the sky over the FM radio waves, my bro could have heard him and avoided it. Although, my brother could have not been checking that channel and totally missed the call altogether. However, I think the bird was in restricted airspace. Anywhere 15' or below over a road should be considered "no-no" for our feathery friends (who don't need rigs or planes to fly). Yes, I'm tired. I'm off to bed.
-
It is actually still in there. :) I think he's leaving it in there until A) it starts cooking itself on the radiator, B) it falls out itself, or C) it loses its "cool" appeal (sort of like the horns on the big Caddy. :) I'll be sure to get photos of the removal, which will probably resemble a disection of some type. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Viking.....that is just a regular sized bird. Probably about a foot wingtip to wingtip (spread out). If he got a hawk or falcon caught in the radiator like that, I would wonder how fast he drives to get it to squeeze through those holes. Ouch! Billo.....he saw the bird and saw it try to fly out of the way, however he didn't see it anywhere when he looked behind him. So, when he got to my house, he got out and checked it out. There it was. Ooops! http://www.brandonandlaura.com
