That's because you're a studmuffin! Did you get your greene and white Classic yet? Rhonda

I doubt if anyone has been more aptly named than you, Wrongway. I've never seen anyone be directly over the "X" at a thousand feet and still manage to land a 1/2 mile off of the DZ. BN

I own one and know how to use it. BN

High school stuff that doesn't matter anymore

Definitely Female Outcast. I was too smart for my own damn good and I knew what I wanted to be--and it was more than being a fry-cook at the local Hardees. Who would have thunk I'd become a skydiver?!!! BN -
For a Rhonda pass, nothing beats a Casa, Baby! BN

Had it for about 5 days. Day 3 was the worst--temp 103 degrees and I was throwing up everything but my toenails. Ached all over. The only time I felt comfortable was when I was taking a hot, bubble bath. Nasty stuff. BN

All I can say is that was one rockin' party and it was great seeing everyone again. By the way, I got 7 inches of new snow on the ground and Friday is a serious ski day. See ya'll next time around! BN -
I think I'll just bring myself--I'm sweet enough as it is! Just kidding. Can I bring anything from in particular from Colorado for you? BN
-
I am there dude! All the way from the front range of the Colorado Rockies. Hopefully the weather will be nice enough so I can show the "old folks" how to do that Accuracy thing. See you there! BN

Most Excellent! Congrats goes to all the hard working Crew Dawgs that made this happen. BN

Hey, Adam--best of luck with you new team. And remember, don't leave your "A" game in the plane! BN -

I did 25 in one day and packed them all myself. Boy, was my back sore that night! BN

Actually, when you land on a cloud you just gather up your chute, run to the edge and jump. Kinda like two jumps for the price of one. Try not to breathe while doing this or you'll get acid rain stuck in your lungs. Crazywoman

Hey, Phree--that rocked! Are you going to put this in the famous Skydive Greene County year end video? I definitely want to reserve my copy of that. See you in December!

You are right, I probably overgeneralized. I get a little uptight when someone tries to kill me. Besides, I like swoopers. They are crunchy, and they taste good with Ketchup!

While I was landing my Accuracy parachute today (Classic 238) after an uneventful freefall, opening, and approach, I was "buzzed" by a small, high performance parachute. The person flying the small canopy had to lift his legs to clear the top of my chute and yells "Hey, look out!" as he proceeded over the top of me. I was at about 60 ft above the ground when this happened. He and I both landed uneventfully, but a rear-end collision nearly happened. I went over to him and told him he was way in the wrong to be that close to my canopy that close to the ground. He had the audacity to say I cut him off on his approach. He had been attempting to swoop and neglected to clear in front or below him while trying to do so. Now, I understand people's need for speed, but when you start putting my life in danger pursuing this need, you are WAY WRONG! Observers on the ground told me he was way in the wrong as well. I told the S&TA about the incident and he confirmed that the lower canopy (me!) had the right-of-way. How many people are going to have to die from other's carelessness before you "swoopers" start getting it?

Discussing "issues" with fellow jumpers
bnacrazywoman replied to sunshine's topic in Safety and Training
Sunshine--I think you should have taken him out to the pea pit and opened a can of whup-ass on him. But that's just my opinion. Crazywoman -
Think of it this way, when you are on your death bed and going over your life, are you really going to be thinking "Man, I shoulda paid more bills?" Just a thought... rkr
