72+ hours in the books, no smokes, but god knows ive wanted one, but (not to sound like an anti-smoking nazi) i haven't given in and i wont. I do believe that the hard part is over and that now it is mostly psychological. I'm learning how to deal with cravings and how to be headstrong and not to just go to the local 7-11 to get a pack and make it all go away. This is quite an experience. GUESS WHAT!!!?? IM 48 hours into it now, havent had a smoke, just got back from a dinner in the non-smoking section and drank 2 beers. The cravings are really bad, but all of your encouragement is motivating me. Im definetly not going back now!!! Food is starting to taste better and beer OMG beer tasted soooo goood. Yep, I will, i think it has to do with breaking learned behaviors, right now im sitting at my PC and normally this is where i smoke alot. i have even caught myself reaching for the invisible pack of cigarettes that used to sit on the computer desk.
