I just heard this on the 5 o'clock news. If there is a link posted later I will post that also. A 7th grader from the St. Louis area purchased a football with money he had saved. He boxed the football up and addressed it to any soldier in Iraq. The Soldiers sent the boy pictures of themselves playing football in Iraq. Upon completion of their tour of duty every member of the Unit signed the football and one Soldier delivered it to him at a school assembly. It turns out that the soldier that delivered the football to the boy had just became a Jumpmaster and presented the boy with his new Jumpmaster wings. Needless to say the boy had tears in his eyes as the football was presented to him. This gives me great faith in the youth of our country.
