IMHO, Its has to do with marketability. NASCAR markets their drivers to be approachable. Go to any Busch series race, and you can walk right through the pits. 90% of drivers are meeting the fans and signing autographs. Does that happen in F1? The sponsorships in NASCAR are more palletable too. I/E Home Depot, Hershey's Chocolate, Budweiser etc.... Bill France Sr. once said that the manfacturer that wins on Sunday sells more cars on Monday. You cant go out on Monday and buy a McClaren F1 car. I personally like both series. Sometimes its the little things in life the get you. Go to the mall looking for a pair of shoes and run into someone you havent seen in a very very long time..... Take your stepson to his girlfriends house and take a different way home and find out that that the wing joint (restaraunt) that closed down three years ago has reopened at a different location but is still owned by the same people that you got to be friends with. I went there for dinner tonight and it just felt like I went home again. I absolutely love wings and the vibe that I got in the place. At one time they even hung some pics of me skydiving there. Bobby Rost- The guy that took me up on my first tandem. Jim Cowan- Who taught me that skydiving is fun and always should be enjoyed no matter what. Jim took me up on my Level 3 (release dive) and was geeking me the whole time. It enabled me to relax and made the progression so much easier. Authorities found no evidence of violence, and autopsies offered no insight. But police received a phone call from a social worker earlier this month. The 12-year-old was in a psychiatric unit, suffering visions and nightmares. Police say she told staff there she strangled her sister in a quarrel over a hamburger.
