  5. Are we suppose to do solos or is this going to be a group free fall thing? I prefer a group thing - let's say about 4 women per group. I can handle that for one night! drakeshelby
  6. I am always trying to give back to the sport! I think this competition will do wonders for the sport and for our dz. Just think how big this craze could be!! The Pink Mafia is really big and growing, turn this into something to draw attention to the fact that when your group wins you are the first one that I am going to spank! Oh sorry I got side tracked!! Turn this into something that will draw attention to the women in this sport! drakeshelby drakeshelby
  7. i think we need to have an all ladies bikini jump contest!! divide the ladies up into a cretain amount of groups(depends on how many we get). make them perform a certain rw diveflow. the one with the most points gets a night with me!!! drakeshelby drakeshelby
  8. We do them all summer long at our dropzone. I have done the 30k jump twice. It was really cold up there. So cold that the doors and windows inside the plane frosted over!! I would not hesitate to do it again!! i loved every second of it!!! ds drakeshelby

  13. I have no idea. I know a pilot that has had a few jump planes that might be able to offer you a start. Most dropzones are about $18 - $20 per slot(jumper that is). As for how many people you can take depends a little on what type of seating arrangement is inside your plane. Most jump planes do not have any seats in them at all. If they have any seating in them it is just long benches down the side (ex. - Otters, skyvans). Most jump pilots do fill the tanks all the way up either for wait reduction(this is moreso I think in turbine aircraft). I think in your plane you can take safely around 12 jumpers. As for being used in boogies, most people are going to want to jump the turbines just beacuse they are a faster ride to altitude. This is a plane that you could fly every weekend if you are at or around a dropzone that does not have a big plane or a turbine. I know I have not been direct in answering your questions but it might give you some ideas. If I were you I would call around to some different dropzones around your area to see what they charge and ask them how they run their operation. drakeshelby drakeshelby
  14. Check out The Under Armour website. They have clothers that are made for cold weather wearing that helps keep you warm. I have a cold weather shirt that I purchased from them 2 years ago and it goes with me everywhere. I have not purchased a set of gloves that they make yet so I do not know how well they work. www.underarmour.com drakeshelby drakeshelby
  15. as for places to live, that kid of depends on where you new office is going to be located? Living inside the city limits, and the county for this matter is not to bad. If you are going to buy a house I highly recomend that you live outside the county(shelby). The Memphis City Govt keeps rainsing proprty taxes about every other year. As of right now there is a proposed tax increase that will be .43-.48cents for every $100 of assesed value on property. This is causing a lot of people to move outside the county. I live just across the state line into North Mississippi (town called Olive Branch) where a lot of people from Memphis are moving to because you can get more house and property for the dollars. Property taxes are cheaper, and the schools down here are better than in Memphis. I am about 3 miles from the state line going into memphis. I don't recommed Cordova: There is a lot of crime moving out that way, taxes are high, traffic is almost as bad as the rush hour traffic going around Atlanta(I have been stuck in rush hour traffic trying to go around Atlanta a few times). Places I do recommed looking: Fayette County (located East of Collierville just outside the county line) Collierville (it is inside the county but it is a nice area, not much crime) Olive Branch(small town, but growing fast) drakeshelby
  16. "Whats there to do?" we have the world famous Beale Street - onel ong strip of bars and clubs, the Memphis Grizzlies Basketball Team, Memphis River Kings Hockey Team, always some kind of concerts going on downtown, there are also casinos about an hour south of memphis in mississippi, they have a lot of concerts down there also. "Is it a young crowd?" The crowd is a mix of young and older. "Whats the social scene like?" The social scene is basically downtown area, there are a few clubs in other areas of Memphis but mainly downtown. I have never been to Atlanta so I cannot compare it for you. What sort of things are you interested in besides the skydiving? drake shelby drakeshelby
  17. Pretty deep!! I have been in this sport for a few years and seen all aspects that you covered!!! as the saying goes, a skydiver who dates a skychick and then breaks up - " It was only his turn!" drakeshelby drakeshelby
  18. I suppose...now back to the point of this thread. If you're horny and you know it clap your hands. That is it, right? I will never stop clapping . . . drakeshelby drakeshelby
  19. Brent, your descriptions on the manuvers are as good as it gets but I will put in my 2 cents in terms that we can relate to. Flat spin: Both wings are stalled on the air craft, it does not roll, horizon stays level. Imagine an aircraft spinning like the rotor blades on a helicopter but without the lift. There is a center point on the spin and no roll at all. Spin: One wing of the aircraft is stalled. The aircraft yaws slightly to the stalled side while the wing on the outside still has lift. Spiral Dive: Resembles close to a spin. This dive has a steep angle of attack(nose of the plane points down). The plane rotates around a center point not on the aircraft but slightly in front of the nose of the plane. Both wings have lift. For skydivers it is a hard toggle turn!! drakeshelby
  20. Jello Shots and Jackie are an ugly combination. She was so hammered last year that she does not remember passing out on my bed and slobbering all over it!!! drakeshelby
  21. I have done several birthday suit jumps. All i have to say is there are always "TURTLE NECKS" worn on my nude jumps . . . and I am not talking about clothing!!! Wearing gloves is not a bad idea, it really does help when it comes time to deploy!! The first step is the coldest!! drakeshelby drakeshelby
  22. "hey.. now i'm wondering... i'm hoping there aren't any boogie-virgin initiation rites... you know.. some strange, deviant sexual practices or something... wait, what am i saying! of course i do!! " Well the only initiation that is required is that you bring beer since this is you first. As for the " strange, deviant sexual practices or something... " sorry when do not have any women that are regulars at our dz that are willing to take one from the newbie, but there are usually one or two from other places that are willing. You will just have to find them or be in the right place at the right time. I never am!!! kevin drakeshelby
  23. Judy, You, Lisa, Lacey and the rest of the women needed to carry around a mop. Everywhere you stood there was a puddle of drool on the ground from staring at the Germans and their Banana Hamocks!!! drakeshelby
