What's a trashplane? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I tried this once in my RW suit w/ booties. Pulled BM style out of a full hard track. My back hurt for 3 days. :( Maybe I should have done an "arched" track as I do in the BM suit when I pull. Whazzat? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Ahh, so that's why nobody talks to me. I'm "stealthy". Good to know. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Do you do a WS type pull sequence? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

This may belong more in the G&R forum, so I hope I'm not off-topic, but to me it does have to do with WS. I fly a Spectre 170 right now and would eventually like to get a 150 9-cell that I can learn basic swoop skills on but also that is tame enough for my still fledgling WS skills. I was planning on a Sabre2 for a long time, but recently have been reading reports of 90-180 offheadings being very common near the end of deployment. With a WS this would be even less fun. I've actually been experiencing very consistent 90-180s with my Spectre+WS, but I'm pretty sure that's my fault somehow. So are either of you guys familiar with these alleged problems with the Sabre2? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I've spent 5 minutes trying to figure out what the 2nd one says. You gotta get out there and ____??? Lab? Lax? Lars? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I think Legal Antennae would be a good band name... www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Your canopy can deploy behind you as Kirk pointed out, or you can also cancel your flight by collapsing everything and return to a near-vertical freefall for a pretty standard deployment. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I will add another question to this same thread... is there a limit on number of jumpers allowed, and do I need to pre-register? I'm considering coming but don't know when I'll know for sure. I'd like to know soon to get cheap tickets. Speaking of which, does anyone know how to get cheap tickets? :) I don't fly much (short of these little 10 minute flights I manage to make @ the DZ on weekends ). www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Thanks for the advice... I actually took the class many months ago. I think my biggest problem is currency (3 month layoff then ~20 jumps over the next 3 months), and the fact that the last few times I've jumped at DeLand the winds were varying like crazy which makes it hard to nail a target. Saturday I aimed for the small peas (I'm estimating 4m diameter, so perfect for C license) on 5 jumps in a row. I only hit them on one, on the rest I was anywhere from 5-25m away, it was just so hard to be consistent with the wind varying from almost nothing to close to 20mph on subsequent jumps. :( It was also a LOT of fun when a gust shut down some of my end cells at 40ft or so, which reopened just in time for a flare. It also doesn't help that before my injury/layoff I was jumping a different DZ every weekend so I never had a familiar pattern / sight picture. I'm gonna try to stay exclusive to DeLand for a while... All I can do is keep practicing... www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Damn man, Robi needs to hire you as a salesman. I've never been interested in any sort of pants really, even after seeing all the "nice ass" (BM Pantz) festivites at the DZ. But you've just about got me sold on these. Plus the fact that they sound like they are pretty high performance (for a pair of pants)... I've *heard* they rival the performance of a Classic in the right hands. I never even tried BM pants so I could be wrong, but it didn't sound like it was worth it for such a small boost in performance. Plus I like the idea of a cool looking jacket+pants (for wearing around whuffos and bragging about what it's really for when they comment on its awesomeness) more than cool pants alone. I've never had a cool jacket in general. Cool looking + human flightsuit = more than I can ask for. If I get them I'm going all black too. While writing this post I headbutted my cat. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Do you still need a C license? :( I'm not even close to the accuracy requirements (need 25 within 2m, I have like 5) and I'm an honest boy, so I won't be getting the license until I nail all those landings... www.WingsuitPhotos.com

That sounds awesome - and by awesome I mean totally sweet. ...you were referencing RUP, right? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I can't think of any situation where one would jump something on his back that he *didn't* have control of... can you? (exception being rodeo

I like your train of thought, and while a back-mounted jet wing would not be legitimate human "body flight" in my opinion either, it might still be fun in its own regard. Probably as close as you'll ever get to being superman. It sounds interesting to me, but it's definitely distinctively different from flying a plane (which I do not have much interest in) and hang-gliding (which I do have some interest in). www.WingsuitPhotos.com

What is your height/weight that you get such awesome times? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

It's a GTI... www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I chopped in my GTI with Spectre. www.WingsuitPhotos.com -
Yeh, it's a minor detail. But as with everything else in skydiving, I've heard varying opinions. And as with everything else (within reason) in skydiving, I will find out my answer on my own through experimentation. But I'm curious what the prevailing opinion on here is... I've heard: a) Toes pointed with feet parallel to each other (well, close to parallel) b) Toes pointed "out" (90 degrees between feet) www.WingsuitPhotos.com

You did. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

No, but to get one from me, you'd have to PM me like I asked... www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I don't know too much about them, but there are 3rd party programs out there that somehow make this work with many free webmail systems. They basically run all the logic scripts in the background I guess and send the info to your POP3 client so it seems like you're just checking it straight from the client. I haven't tried any of them, I was reading about one called Yahoo Pops that is just for Yahoo, and I think I also found another one that can be configured for any webmail, but I can't remember what it was... www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I had 6 and could only find one real-life friend who wanted one. :( So I have 5 left. PM me (name + email address!) if you want one. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Wouldn't it be the other way around? I'm assuming the difference was based on the air density... but I guess it could have had to do with your endurance in which case it makes sense the way you said... www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I was thinking about driving out there early tomorrow morning, but I realized I don't even know if they're running. No answer on the phone now, but it might just be too late... EDIT: Specifically, is the DZ jumping? Thanks! www.WingsuitPhotos.com
