I knew a girl that had two, and they smelled horrible. This is coming from the self-proclaimed "I have no sense of smell" guy. When she moved to a new place with two rooms she kept them in her spare room with the door shut, so at least I didn't smell them anymore, but that doesn't support the argument that they need attention or bonding, since I never saw her go in there... although it's very possible she did when I wasn't there. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Bastard. Er... I mean, congrats. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

My guess - I think there is waaay too much range of speed control for a table like this to exist. Just guess your speed and extrapolate. :) www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I would imagine people can do 4-5 min from 23k feet... www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Well then you'd better not get on my team or I'll be the guy that ruins it for you. Haven't done an RW jump in months and don't think I've done a backflip since last Hog Flop. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Who broke the site? EDIT: Nevermind, it's working now... www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Wow, thanks for the offer. I will probably bring an inflatabelt, so unless I can't make that work somehow, I should be ok. I'm sure someone will be able to benefit from your generosity though... Cya there! www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I just found out about the whole "free Ipod" thing and did a search on the forum and found this thread. You wrote this over a month ago, so I'm curious... what happened? Like Chuck, I'd like to see proof... www.WingsuitPhotos.com

You look like a scary vampire. And you know how I feel about that... www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I wonder if it's possible to secure the inflatabelt on my chest strap somehow, or if that would obscure my view and access of my handles. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Thanks for your input Scott. Can you describe a little better how you attach it exposed, and if you are using an "inflatabelt" or something different? As I told Tom, I can't seem to find new gear for sale other than the Stearns inflatabelt. To be honest (criticize if you want), I'm not too worried about a water landing or losing my gear if I do have one. But wearing on the outside sounds attractive to me since I really am wondering if I can fit that 8" x 4" x 2" (according to Paragear) hip-pack under my already snug suit. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Duuuuude, you can burn legally? /obligatory Seriously though, is Sebastian a Nazi town or something? I always kind of scoffed at the signs about city rules about dogs and camping permits, and now they make you fill in the fire pit? WTF over? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Sounds good to me... I was actually worried the inflatabelt might not fit under my WS, which fits snug around the waist already. I'm a strong swimmer and could easily do the dead-man float until I die from dehydration anyway. So I want to try your solution, but the problem is I can't find any new flotation gear sold except the inflatabelt. Where would I get a "little float buoy" to mount on my wrist? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

The world has geographical shortcomings (I am not sure of any geological concerns related to wingsuits ). If you want to act you move to California. If you want to surf you move to a coast where there are waves. Skydiving itself is not geographically indiscriminate. There are people all over this country who can't skydive as conveniently as they'd like. You can't really go complaining to a gear manufacturer or the UPSA about this. Change can be affected slowly, but that doesn't mean that the "deficiency" now is someone's fault. You can't expect anyone to be everywhere at once. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Well I did think it was out of character (for you) when you said to pull high (at the Keys). www.WingsuitPhotos.com

And expensive... I recently shipped a 13lb package from USA to Holland and it was $140 one way. I'm guessing "round trip" would be twice that much. Not saying this option wouldn't work, just pointing out the price tag... www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I'm about to buy an "inflatabelt" flotation gear for the upcoming Keys Boogie. I've never seen or used one before but I understand they go around your waist like a hip-pack. I've asked this question before and had one person tell me that you wear it under your wingsuit, and one person tell me that you wear it over the wingsuit, threaded through the arm cables. Maybe both are valid solutions, but I'm curious to know what everyone else thinks... I'm leaning towards putting it under the suit, by the logic that if a water landing is impending I can easily unzip the entire front of the suit and undo my chest strap (before splashdown) and have easy access to the flotation gear. But again, I haven't seen the gear so I don't know what is best... www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I lost a canopy at sunset and found it nearly 24 hours later. I wasn't too worried though - I have renter's insurance with a "sporting equipment" addendum on the policy. Costs me $200 a year and covers $10,000 worth of skydiving equipment. $500 deductible. I recommend everyone do the same. I'm not sure if it explicitly covers LOST gear, but I would report it as a STOLEN cutaway main... i.e. I saw where it landed, when I got there it was GONE! :) www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I learned to pack a brand new crispy Spectre 170 with only 50 or so pack jobs and jumps to my name. If I did it you can too! :) Sad to admit though that I probably couldn't do it anymore. As the canopy gets easier to pack, my skills devolve so that I can just barely handle it. Next new canopy, I'll just have to re-learn. :) www.WingsuitPhotos.com

One good trick is to do the S-folds in reverse order... make the fold near the "top" of your cocoon first then fit that part in the bag. Then make the fold on the bottom and squeeze that into the first one already in the bag. Hope that made sense... if not get someone at the DZ to show you. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Opeth is the best metal band of this era. But they're not in line with the stuff you're listing. Still, you might like them. I call it prog metal. www.WingsuitPhotos.com -

Which L&B product are you talking about? I can't find anything about it anywhere. Maybe I'm misunderstanding you guys, but you realize I'm talking about securing the goggles to my head, NOT the dytters to the goggles? Oh well, I didn't really expect a good answer to this question anyway, thanks for the replies though.
