This is interesting. So does he have his A or does he just do the occasional tandem to boost his ego? I realize he's been through AFF, but if that was from the "Days" of Thunder, then if he hasn't jumped in a while, he'd be quite uncurrent. I had the honor to go to ZHills for 6 days to do my AFF. It was quite likely the best 6 days of my life. This dropzone is incredible. It is a very laid-back, friendly DZ. Everyone is treated as a friend when they first show up. The skydiving is incredible: Huge/easy landing area, awesome planes quick to altitude, great instructors and organizers, a gear shop full of anything you could want. They also have a snack bar and a bar (that opens after the sunset load). The people at ZHills are incredible. I have a feeling I could travel the Earth the rest of my life, and never find a DZ as good as ZHills.

Skygod, sweet swoop pics. We were down there at the same time man. The day you guys were out there doing that, I was in my damn AFF First jump course, so I didn't get to see that sweet action. I hung out with Vern all week, but heard you had to leave. A 16 year old out double swooping the pond while I'm going through AFF training. Grr... Catch ya at Richmond sometime. My AFF instructor did pull for me on my first attempt at Level One. I got it right on the next attempt though, just nerves, and the inability to find the hackey. I honestly think that if she hadn't pulled for me, I would have had a Cypres fire, 'cause I doubt I would've found it between 5,000 and 1,000...who knows. Thanks Kramer (and everyone else). AFF was so much fun. I failed levels I and III, but hey...shit happens. I met a lot of really neat people, made a lot of friends, had a great time. If you've never been to ZHills, go there. It's absolutely incredible. I am forever in debt to jmpnkramer and ladyskydiver for bending over backwards to help make my stay a little more enjoyable. You guys are great, I owe you big. I also met Ron (funny funny guy...gives good advice), kelel01 (hottie), dagny (again...hottie), happythoughts (who also got me going with a few good funny stories), HeatherB (who lost me as a dinner date one night ) umm....Bean (who is a badass and taught me how to pack), captainpooby (who works his ass off at ZHills ), and tons of other non dotcommers that were really cool. And I talked to peachsouthern on the phone a few times (once right after I landed from level VII), she's a sweet gal (have fun down there).
