Any landing that fare is just a hell of a thing. I wish I could have seen it - That JC did it does not surprise me. Having something never beats doing (>|

It sounds like our community has some good thoughts on this topic. One might look at it from many angles. There are many types of people out there that can do many things at once. A lot of natural fliers. But let us still put the line in the sand. We still need to be shown. Not everything. But we still need to be looked after and training-wheeled to a point. At what point that might be for someone to get up on the flying video juggling act, is up to - BSRs...DZO/S&TA etc,rules...Comfort level of fellow jumpers...And at the end of the day, you the jumper might not want to be flying camera so much if every time you land you can't remember what it was you where filming and you still have a full role of stills in your camera. Look to the ones that are doing it right. Find the right people at your DZ. You can also go to http://www.normankent.com/advice.htm Here Norman talks not so much to the first photo flier, but he paints a great picture as to what you are about to get into and where it can take you. I can see Paul arguing with Saint Peter for an extended stay Earth pass right now, trying to tell him about some of the things he still wanted to do. I can see Peter pat him on the back and say "We know, but Paul my young angel, you have done far more then any man need. Besides, we need your help up here. These guys don't know how to fly. You start teaching in 1 hour, first load is tomorrow at 8." Thanks for letting me fly with you Paul. Until next time. Bill - Chuck - love you guys - see you soon Having something never beats doing (>|

Hi Steph- I am sorry. I send you my thoughts and love. I believe in God and have a faith that is strong. But these days it is taking a beating from all the pain I feel, live with and hear about. Yet,There is still that small voice sometimes when I quiet my mind. Its a lot like a captains words over a plane intercom, letting you knew he has the controls. Keep your mind and head forward - Remember your feet come back down to the earth better that way. Always -AC Having something never beats doing (>|

I love a women with a great mind. I use my mind all the time as well. I think " that is a great ass " " I bet she has adult store coupons" " . . .she is very smart, she's looking at me" " she must be thinking right now, that would explain the funny noises" " she has skills, you got to be smart to take a bra off that fast" " she must be listening to a foreign language tape while on that tread mill" " she has her orientation skills down, I never could have figured out how to fit two people in this back seat let alone her, her sister and me." Hi, it's ac - I will not ever teach someone to do performance landings if they say they just want to have more fun as they land. Don't hate me just yet. If that is the case then they can go to someone else. The idea is personal. I have seen too many people hurt or killed because they were trying to do what they saw me do. I can only give one answer. Go to the pros. Learn everything you can over a long term of practice. Know the math and always know your altitude. After a good time of doing what is safe and right, if you choose not to focus on that extra foot on each landing, then step back and just have fun with your landings. If your at the DZ I work at and you rip a 270 and then tell me you don't know how high you are when you land "like that" I'll pop your reserve. Having something never beats doing (>|

Hi this is ac - My 98 Xaos 27 packs up a little tight in my RS.5. I do not know your jump # or what you are used to jumping. You should not buy a small canopy just because it is the only thing that will fit in your rig. If that is not the case, your 88 Xaos 27 will fit in your W4. It will come down to packing style as to the ease of work you will put out after each jump. You should still talk to Wings and get more info from them. Having something never beats doing (>|

If you talk to a Sony rep they will tell you that the IP5 was a "market developer". They now have a few more micros out with MPG-4 and a better body. A few Tandem Masters are out there using them as hand mounted units for do-it-your-self video- some look very cool. You have to know your software and work as many issues you have with the camera on the computer. Try not to over use the motor - rew-ff-rew-ff-rew-ff.Get it from the camera the computer. don't try to explain to your bodies while they are really drunk why you can fire-wire that really cool jump to their video camera. Radio Shack has all kinds of photo cell ends. My first LED light was built with a knife, electrical tape, three wire - one twice as long as the other two and also the right length from camera light, through helmet to eye peace, AA battery, velcro with sticky back, one photo cell and one Red LED. thats the start of it. Hi guys its AC At the moment I do not know if the canopy (freefly68) is talking about is the Flight Concepts canopy that Red is having me jump right now. The "Rage" is a non crossbrased nine-cell elliptical. It has a type of H nose mod which gives it a changed nose shape and a better standard flare for landing. It dives in a turn more so then a stiletto will and has a recovery Arc a lot like the Samuri. The openings are a camera flyers dream- progressive and soft. The landings are good but do not compare well with the landings of a crossbraced canopy. The Rage lands, in a high performance since, like that of a stiletto. This is from comparison jumps with the same wing loading on a stiletto 107 and the Rage 107-exit weight being 190. Again - this might not be the same R.A.G.E that was being talked about.
